Abstract

Pendahuluan: Populasi lansia cenderung mengalami penurunan biologis dan psikis sehingga terjadi peningkatan kecacatan dan morbiditas dan menurunkan kualitas hidupnya terutama lansia yang tinggal di panti jompo. Tujuan: melakukan pengamatan yang bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran layanan komprehensif dalam kualitas hidup lansia yang tinggal di Panti Jompo Al�Ishlah Malang Metode: melakukan wawancara semistructured pada tujuh lansia berusia >60 tahun yang tinggal di Panti Jompo Al-Ishlah Malang dan mengidentifikasi tema, sub tema, dan sub subtema yang berperan dalam kualitas hidup lansia di Panti Jompo Al-Ishlah melalui pengorganisasian, memoing, coding, membuat tema dan interpretasi data. Data dikumpulkan melalui indepth interview, observasi partisipan dan studi dokumentasi partisipan Hasil: diantara tujuh partisipan, dapat diidentifikasi sebanyak sepuluh tema yang berperan dalam kualitas hidup lansia. Tema ini terbagi menjadi dua kelompok besar yaitu indikator penilaian kualitas hidup lansia berdasarkan WHOQOL-BREF dan faktor faktor yang berperan dalam kualitas hidup lansia. Diantaranya adalah Alasan tinggal di panti jompo, dukungan keluarga, pola tidur, Kesehatan fisik, aktivitas fisik, hubungan social, tingkat depresi, konsep diri, layanan di panti jompo, dan keinginan menetap di panti jompo. Kesimpulan : pelayanan yang komprehensif pada lansia di panti jompo akan berperan dalam kualitas hidup lansia yang tinggal di panti jompo berdasarkan sepuluh aspek aspek yang telah diamati

English Abstract

Background: Elderly population tends to experience biological and psychological decline, resulting in increased disability and morbidity and decreased quality of life, especially for the elderly living in nursing homes. Aim: The aim of this study is to explore the role of comprehensive service in quality of life of the elderly who live in Al-Ishlah Malang Nursing Home Methods: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven elderly individuals aged >60 years who reside in the Al-Ishlah Malang Nursing Home. Themes, sub-themes, and sub-sub themes that have a role for the quality of life of the elderly in the nursing home were identified through data organization, memoing, coding, theme creation, and data interpretation. Data were collected through indepth interviews, participant observation, and participant documentation studies. Results: Among the seven participants, ten themes that influence the quality of life of the elderly were identified. These themes were divided into two major groups, namely the assessment indicators of the quality of life of the elderly based on WHOQOL-BREF, and the factors that have a role for the quality of life of the elderly. These factors include reasons for living in a nursing home, family support, sleep patterns, physical health, physical activity, social relationships, depression level, self-concept, nursing home services, and desire to stay in the nursing home. Conclusion: A Comprehensive care for the elderly living in nursing homes have a role for the quality of life of the elderly living in nursing homes based on the ten observed aspects
