Abstract
Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui perbedaan persentase sel hexagonal dan ketebalan kornea, serta hubungan CDE dengan penurunan persentase sel hexagonal endotel kornea dan peningkatan ketebalan kornea sebelum dan sesudah fakoemulsifikasi. Metode : Desain studi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah studi observasional menggunakan metode kohort prospektif. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah pasien dengan diagnosa katarak senilis dengan usia >40 tahun tanpa memiliki kelainan mata lainnya yang melakukan kunjungan ke Malang Eye Center selama periode 4 bulan dan direncanakan ektraksi katarak. Hasil : Hex pra operasi didapatkan rata rata 65.29±5.81. Hex follow up 1 didapatkan rata rata 63.9±6.46. Hex follow up 2 didapatkan rata rata 64.51±5.27. CCT pra operasi didapatkan rata rata 542.6±27.41. CCT follow up 1 didapatkan rata rata 571.8±34.07. CCT follow up 2 didapatkan rata rata 551.29±33.62. Nilai koefisien korelasi antara CDE dengan Delta Hex (pra – follow up 1) dan (pra - follow up 2) secara berurutan masing masing sebesar 0.057 dengan nilai P 0.726.dan 0.116 dengan nilai P 0.469. Nilai koefisien korelasi antara CDE dengan Delta CCT (pra - follow up 1) dan (pra - follow up 2) secara berurutan masing masing sebesar -0.189 dengan nilai P 0.238 dan -0.124 dengan nilai P 0.440. Kesimpulan : Jumlah persentase sel hexagonal endotel kornea terus mengalami penurunan, namun dari uji statistik penurunan tersebut tidak berbeda secara signifikan. Peningkatan Central Corneal Thickness (CCT) memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik. Meningkatnya CDE tidak berhubungan dengan persentase sel hexagonal dan CCT sel endotel kornea.
English Abstract
Objective : To determine differences in the percentage of hexagonal cells and corneal thickness, as well as the relationship between CDE and the decrease in the percentage of hexagonal endothelial cells of the cornea and the increase in corneal thickness before and after phacoemulsification. Methods: The study design used in this study was an observational study using a prospective cohort method. The sample in this study were patients diagnosed with senile cataract aged >40 years without other eye disorders who visited the Malang Eye Center during a 4-month period for which cataract extraction was planned. Results: Hex preop obtained an average of 65.29 ± 5.81. Hex follow up 1 obtained an average of 63.9 ± 6.46. Hex follow up 2 obtained an average of 64.51 ± 5.27. Preop CCT obtained an average of 542.6 ± 27.41. CCT follow up 1 obtained an average of 571.8 ± 34.07. CCT follow up 2 obtained an average of 551.29 ± 33.62. Correlation coefficient values between CDE and Delta Hex (pre - follow up 1) and (pre - follow up 2) respectively were 0.057 with a P value of 0.726 and 0.116 with a P value 0.469. Correlation coefficient values between CDE and Delta CCT (pre - follow up 1) and (pre - follow up 2) were respectively -0.189 with a P value of 0.238 and -0.124 with a value P 0.440. Conclusion: The percentage of hexagonal endothelial cells of the cornea continued to decrease, but from statistical tests the decrease was not significantly different. The increase in Central Corneal Thickness (CCT) has a statistically significant difference. The increase in CDE was not related to the percentage of hexagonal cells and CCT of corneal endothelial cells.
