Abstract
Daun binahong (Anredera Cordifolia) adalah tanaman obat yang mudah didapatkan dan dimanfaatkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Binahong mengandung senyawa alkaloid, saponin, serta flavonoid. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh gel ekstrak daun binahong (Anredera Cordifolia (tenore) Steen) dalam penyembuhan luka perineum secara makroskopis pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) betina model episiotomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Randomised Post Test Only Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah tikus putih betina wistar sebanyak 15 sampel yang terbagi dalam 5 kelompok yaitu kontrol negatif diberikan basis gel, kontrol positif diberikan povidine iodine 10%, gel ekstrak daun binahong 5%, 10%, dan 15%. Pengukuran panjang luka serta pengamatan secara makroskopis dilakukan setiap hari selama 8 hari terhadap eritema, keropeng, eksudat, dan menutup nya luka. Data pengamatan makroskopis dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data panjang luka dianalisis menggunakan program SPSS versi 26 dengan uji Kruskal-Wallis, lalu menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney dengan p≤0,05. Hasil pengamatan makroskopis didapatkan kelompok perlakuan gel ekstrak 5%, 10%, dan 15% mampu mempersingkat waktu eritema, pembentukan keropeng, mencegah munculnya eksudat, dan meningkatkan penutupan luka. Hasil analisis panjang luka didapatkan gel ekstrak daun binahong (Anredera Cordifolia) pada konsentrasi 5% dapat memberikan efek optimum dalam penurunan panjang luka perineum tikus betina (Rattus novergicus). Kesimpulan: gel ekstrak daun binahong berpengaruh terhadap penyembuhan luka perineum secara makroskopis.
English Abstract
Binahong leaves (Anredera Cordifolia) are medicinal plants that are easy to get and use in everyday life. Binahong contains alkaloid compounds, saponins, and flavonoids. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of binahong leaf extract gel (Anredera Cordifolia (tenore) Steen) on macroscopic perineal wound healing in female white rats (Rattus norvegicus) episiotomy model. This study used a Randomized Post Test Only Control Group Design. The samples used were 15 female Wistar rats divided into 5 groups: negative controls were given gel base, positive controls were given 10% povidine iodine, binahong leaf extract gel 5%, 10% and 15%. Measurement of wound length and macroscopic observation was carried out every day for 8 days for erythema, scab, exudate, and wound closure. Macroscopic observation data were analyzed descriptively. Wound length data were analyzed using the SPSS version 26 program with the Kruskal-Wallis test, then using the Mann-Whitney test with p≤0.05. The results of macroscopic observations showed that the 5%, 10%, and 15% gel extract treatment groups were able to shorten the erythema time, scab formation, prevent the appearance of exudate, and increase wound closure. The results of the wound length analysis showed that binahong leaf extract gel (Anredera cordifolia) at a concentration of 5% could provide the optimum effect in decreasing the perineal wound length of female rats (Rattus novergicus). Conclusion: binahong leaf extract gel has an effect on perineal wound healing macroscopically.
