Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi karya film pendek yang diproduksi oleh Enjoy Production yang berjudul Malapetaka ditinjau dari segi continuity atau kelanjutan dimasing-masing scene. Dalam penelitian ini menjawab permasalahan terkait memastikan pada scene yang tidak continuity atau tidak berkesinambungan dengan shot sebelumnya dan dilakukanya pencocokan gambaran shot untuk mencari gambaran shot yang sekiranya bisa continuity atau berkesinambungan. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan tugas akhir ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dengan cara membandingkan film yang memiliki visual dan cerita yang hampir serupa dengan film pendek Malapetaka,peneliti ikut berperan serta dalam produksi film pendek Malapetaka. Dari hasil penelitian yang didapatkan diantaranya Sutradara dalam film pendek Malapetaka di pasca produksi berdiskusi dengan editing bagaimana mengatasi shot yang jumping dan scene yang tidak continuity.
English Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the work of a short film produced by Enjoy Production entitled Malapetaka in terms of continuity or continuation in each scene. In this study, answering problems related to ensuring that the scene is not continuous or not continuous with the previous shot and matching the shot image to look for a shot image that can be continuity or continuous. The method used to complete this final project is descriptive qualitative, namely by comparing films that have visuals and stories that are almost similar to the short film Malapetaka, researchers take part in the production of the short film Malapetaka. From the research results obtained, including the director in the short film Malapetaka in post-production discussing with editing how to overcome jumping shots and scenes that are not continuity.
