Abstract
Director of Photographya merupakan salah satu peran penting dalam pembuatan sebuah karya visual. Director of Photography bertanggung jawab baik secara teknis maupun tidak pada semua aspek visual. Maka dari itu Director of Photography harus memiliki aspek teknis sinematografi. Salah satu unsur yang penting dalam sebuah musik video adalah teknik pengambilan gambar. Teknik pengambilan gambar merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam menciptakan komposisi visual dan memberikan pengalaman yang berbeda kepada penonton. Pemilihan pengambilan gambar oleh Director of Photography merupakan bagian sangat penting dalam mengkomunikasikan pesan dan emosi kepada penonton. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana proses seorang Director of Photography dalam menerapkan teknik pengambilan gambar kemudian mengimplementasikan kedalam sebuah produks musik video yang berjudul “Bloom in Time”. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan laporan tugas akhir ini adalah Kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut di dapatkan hasil sebagai berikut: Penerapan teknik pengambilan gambar untuk memperkuat pesan dalam musik video “Bloom in Time”. Data tersebut diharapkan semakin menguatkan penulisan tugas akhir dengan tujuan memberi pengetahuan dan wawasan yang lebih luas bagi pembaca.
English Abstract
The Director of Photography is one of the important roles in creating a visual work. The Director of Photography is responsible, both technically and artistically, for all visual aspects. Therefore, the Director of Photography must have technical aspects of cinematography. One important element in a music video is the technique of capturing images. The technique of capturing images is a crucial element in creating visual composition and providing a different experience to the audience. The selection of shots by the Director of Photography is a very important part of communicating the message and emotions to the viewers. This study discusses how a Director of Photography goes through the process of applying the technique of capturing images and implementing it into a music video production titled "Bloom in Time." The method used to complete this final assignment report is qualitative. The results of the study are as follows: the application of the technique of capturing images to reinforce the message in the music video "Bloom in Time." These findings are expected to further strengthen the writing of the final assignment with the aim of providing broader knowledge and insights to the readers.
