Abstract
Disneylandisasi mulai muncul ketika Pemkot Batu ingin menghadirkan semua jenis pariwisata dan aspek pendukungnya, mulai dari museum, taman bermain, taman satwa, vila, restoran, dan hotel sehingga mengubah suatu lanskap kota. Dengan massive nya pembangunan tersebut akhirnya menimbulkan dampak ekologis bagi masyarakat sekitar. Sehingga peneliti ingin melakukan penelitian terhadap reaksi masyarakat sekitar terhadap konsep disneylandisasi dengan rumusan masalah bagaimana dampak disneylandisasi Kota Batu dengan masyarakat sekitar? dan seperti apa reaksi dan respon masyarakat terhadap disneylandisasi Kota Batu?. Penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dalam mengelola penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa industri pariwisata atau disneylandisasi Kota Batu dipandang oleh masyarakat telah memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat Desa Ngaglik Kota Batu, yaitu dibidang ekonomi, lingkungan, dan sosial. Pada bidang ekonomi, masyarakat Kota Batu merasa terbantu akibat adanya jumlah lapangan pekerjaan yang disediakan oleh pihak pengelola pariwisata kepada masyarakat setempat sebesar 40%, kemudian dari sisi lingkungan pihak pengelola pariwisata cukup memperhatikan akses jalan yang ada serta dengan adanya mediasi maka akses drainase akan segera diperbaiki dalam beberapa waktu kedepan ini, kemudian dari sisi sosial memiliki dampak positif seperti bantuan sosial disetiap ada kebutuhan dari warga dan negatifnya adalah terpengaruhnya psikologis anak-anak akibat adanya pemandu karaoke yang berkeliaran di kawasan pariwisata.
English Abstract
Disneylandization began to emerge when the Batu City Government wanted to present all types of tourism and its supporting aspects, ranging from museums, playgrounds, animal parks, villas, restaurants and hotels so as to change a city landscape. With its massive development, it will eventually have an ecological impact on the surrounding community. So that researchers want to conduct research on the reaction of the surrounding community to the concept of Disneylandization with the formulation of the problem how is the impact of Disneylandization in Batu City on the surrounding community? and what is the reaction and response of the community to the disneylandization of Batu City?. The author uses a type of qualitative research in managing this research. The results of this study indicate that the tourism industry or Disneylandization of Batu City is seen by the community as having had a positive impact on the people of Ngaglik Village, Batu City, namely in the economic, environmental and social fields. In the economic field, the people of Batu City feel helped due to the number of jobs provided by the tourism manager to the local community of 40%, then from an environmental perspective the tourism manager pays enough attention to existing road access and with mediation the drainage access will be repaired soon in the future, from a social perspective, it will have a positive impact, such as social assistance whenever there is a need from residents and the negative is the psychological impact on children due to karaoke guides roaming the tourism area.
