Abstract
Pembagian kelas dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan, terutama dalam kesejahteraan sosial. Borjuis dan pekerja adalah dua kelas yang dibagi dalam Marxist. Karena ketidaksetaraan, terdapat konflik antara kaum borjuis dan proletar karena perbedaan tersebut. Untuk mencapai kesetaraan, kaum proletar melawan borjuis. The Platform adalah film yang menggambarkan perjuangan kaum proletar untuk kesetaraan. Timbul pertanyaan "Bagaimana fenomena revolusi sosial yang dipimpin tokoh utama, Goreng, untuk mencapai kesetaraan bagi narapidana gagal?” Studi ini bertujuan untuk menambah referensi kepustakaan dalam studi Marxist yang berfokus pada proses kegagalan untuk mencapai kesetaraan bagi narapidana. Peneliti menggunakan Marxisme sebagai pendekatan analisis selain teori perlawanan dan revolusi, teori kesetaraan, dan studi sastra. Akhirnya, peneliti menemukan banyak ketimpangan hidup yang dialami oleh narapidana kelas bawah dalam film The Platform. Karena ketidaksetaraan tersebut, narapidana ditempatkan ke dalam tingkat penjara yang berbeda. Terdapat 333 level di penjara; disebut lubang. Perbedaan level antar narapidana dan kehabisan makanan untuk narapidana level bawah menyebabkan konflik di antara level tersebut. Goreng, sebagai narapidana level bawah memutuskan untuk melakukan aksi perjuangan melalui perlawanan dan revolusi dengan mendistribusikan makanan sesuai porsinya dan mengajak para narapidana untuk ikut aksi untuk menerapkan solidaritas spontan. Setelah aksi perjuangan melalui perlawanan dan revolusi, Goreng gagal dan hanya sedikit mencapai semua tujuannya. Yang pertama adalah memberi narapidana tingkat rendah makanan dan kesetaraan yang mereka butuhkan, dan yang kedua adalah menyatakan ketidaksetujuan kepada pengelola. Peneliti menyarankan kepada peneliti selanjutnya yang tertarik membuat analisis dengan menggunakan film The Platform sebagai objek penelitian, mengisi kekosongan dari tesis ini seperti fokus pada studi kapitalis.
English Abstract
Disparities, particularly in social welfare, impact the division of classes. The bourgeoisie and the proletariat were the two classes that Marxists divided society into. Because of the inequality, there is a conflict between the bourgeois and the proletarian due to the disparity. The proletariat should fight against the bourgeoisie to achieve equality. The Platform is a film that depicts the proletarians' fight for equality. A question arose: "How does the phenomenon of social revolution led by the main character, Goreng, to achieve equality for convicts fail?" This study aims to reference the Marxist study, which focuses on the failure process to achieve equality for convicts. The researcher uses Marxism as an approach for the analysis in addition to theories of resistance and revolution, theories of equality, and literary studies. Finally, the researcher discovers many life inequalities experienced by lower level convicts in the film The Platform. Because of the disparity, convicts are separated into different prison levels. There are 333 levels in the prison, called the hole. The different levels between convicts and running out of food for lower level convicts lead to conflict between those levels. As the lower level convict, Goreng decides to take an action of struggle through resistance and revolution by distributing food as rations and inviting the convicts to join the action to apply spontaneous solidarity. After the struggle through resistance and revolution, Goreng fails and falls short of accomplishing his goals. The first is to provide lower level convicts with the food and equality they need, and the second is to express disapproval to the manager. The researcher suggests the next researcher who wants to analyze by using The Platform film as an object in the future; fill up the gap from this thesis, such as the capitalist focuses.
