Abstract
Manusia adalah makhluk yang tumbuh bersama kenangannya, pada penciptaan ini membahas hal yang berkaitan dengan kenangan masa kecil dan kebiasaan berbicara dengan diri sendiri untuk memunculkan karakter superhero imajiner yang diwujudkan dalam karya seni patung. Penciptaan ini diharapkan bisa memberikan gambaran terhadap sosok superhero yang nampak dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode penciptaan menggunakan dasar pemikiran Yaya Sukaya (2009, hal. 10) melalui tiga tahapan. Tahap pencarian ide dan gagasan, pendalaman atau pengembangan, dan berkarya seni rupa. Berdasarkan hasil cipta, diperoleh tujuh karya, masing-masing karya memvisualkan sosok superhero yang dibalut dengan harapan dan doa. Dalam prosesnya teknik yang digunakan yaitu modeling dan cetak. Karya patung berjumlah 7 dengan ukuran 46 x 25 x 70 cm berjumlah 5, ukuran 46 x 50 x70 cm berjumlah 1, dan ukuran 46 x 48 x 70 cm berjumlah 1. Dalam konsep penyajiannya penulis menerapkan site-specific art pada beberapa karya. Pameran dilaksanakan secara luring di Piknik Hub yang terletak di Jalan Simpang Borobudur No.41a, Malang. Melalui proses penciptaan ini, hal baru didapatkan dalam proses berkarya, bagaimana kendala, kekurangan, dan kesalahan dalam proses penciptaan menjadi bekal untuk proses kedepannya.
English Abstract
Humans are beings who grow with their memories. This creation discusses aspects related to childhood memories and the habit of talking to oneself to bring forth imaginary superhero characters manifested in sculptural artworks. This creation aims to provide an insight into the presence of superheroes in everyday life. The creation process adopts Yaya Sukaya's (2009, p. 10) three stages: ideation and conceptualization, deepening or development, and the creation of sculptural art. Based on the creative process, seven artworks were produced, each visualizing a superhero figure wrapped in hopes and prayers. The techniques employed in the process were modeling and casting. There were a total of 1 sculptures and 6 statue : 1 sculpture and 5 statue with dimensions of 46 x 25 x 70 cm, 1 statue measuring 46 x 50 x 70 cm, and 1 statue measuring 46 x 48 x 70 cm. In the presentation concept, the author applied site-specific art to some of the artworks. The exhibition was held physically at Piknik Hub, located at Simpang Borobudur Street Number.41a, Malang. Through this creative process, new insights were gained in the artistic endeavor. The challenges, shortcomings, and mistakes encountered in the creative process became valuable lessons for future endeavors.
