Abstract
Penelitian ini memaparkan mengenai bagaimana bentuk serta ornamen ragam hias jaladwara yang merupakan salah satu koleksi di Museum Mpu Purwa. Koleksi yang hadir berupa jaladwara dengan klasifikasi bentuk dasar kepala makara dimana penggambarannya gabungan beberapa hewan yang menjadi satu. Fokus penelitian menganalisis topik ini untuk mengidentifikasi, mendeskripsikan serta memaknai setiap karakteristik ilustrasi dari bentuk ornamen dan ragam hias yang tentunya memiliki nilai manfaat tersendiri di bidang Seni rupa sehingga menarik jika dikaji lebih mendalam dengan hasil luaran yaitu sebagai referensi ide visual bagi pembaca khususnya pengrajin dan seniman dalam pengembangan karya seni nantinya seperti desain motif pada batik, patung dll.
English Abstract
This study describe the form and ornamentation of the jaladwara decoration, which is one of the collections at the Mpu Purwa Museum. The collection that is present is in the form of jaladwara with the classification of the basic shape of the makara head where the description is a combination of several animals into one. The focus of the research is to analyse this topic to identify, describe, and interpret each of the illustration characteristics of the form of ornaments and decorations which of course have their own beneficial values in the field of Fine Arts so that it is interesting if studied in more depth with the output result, namely as a reference for visual ideas for readers, especially craftsmen and artists. In the development of later works of art such as design motifs on batik, sculptures etc.
