Abstract

Industri konstruksi di Indonesia memiliki peran vital dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi negara dengan adanya ekspansi proyek infrastruktur dan meningkatnya permintaan akan jasa konstruksi. Persaingan bisnis semakin ketat di industri ini, baik dari perusahaan lokal maupun asing, termasuk di kota Surabaya yang mengalami pertumbuhan industri konstruksi yang pesat. Dalam menghadapi persaingan ini, perusahaan konstruksi harus berinovasi dan meningkatkan kualitas serta hasil kinerja, sambil memperhatikan budaya organisasi yang memengaruhi kebijakan dan performa karyawan. Knowledge sharing menjadi faktor penting dalam pengelolaan pengetahuan dan pengalaman di perusahaan konstruksi, namun tantangan dalam menerapkan praktik knowledge sharing masih dihadapi oleh perusahaan-perusahaan ini, sehingga diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk memahami manfaat dan mendorong adopsi praktik yang mendukungnya guna meningkatkan efektivitas knowledge sharing di industri konstruksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan karyawan perusahaan konstruksi perusahaan kualifikasi besar di kota Surabaya sebagai responden yang digunakan untuk penelitian. Setelah didapatkan data dari responden, dilakukan pengolahan data menggunakan metode OCAI untuk menilai tipe organisasi yang diterapkan didalam perusahaan konstruksi tersebut. Lalu digunakan uji korelasi rank-pearson, uji regresi sederhana, dan uji T untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap penerapan knowledge sharing pada perusahaan konstruksi kualifikasi besar di kota Surabaya. Tipe budaya organisasi yang menonjol di perusahaan konstruksi di kota Surabaya adalah tipe budaya clan. Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap penerapan knowledge sharing. Didapatkan nilai knowledge sharing meningkat seiring dengan penerapan budaya organisasi yang diterapkan di perusahaan.

English Abstract

The construction industry in Indonesia plays a vital role in the country's economic growth with the expansion of infrastructure projects and increasing demand for construction services. Business competition is intensifying in this industry, both from local and foreign companies, including in the city of Surabaya which is experiencing rapid growth in the construction industry. In the face of this competition, construction companies must innovate and improve performance quality and results, while paying attention to Organisational culture that affects employee policies and performance. Knowledge sharing is an important factor in managing knowledge and experience in construction companies, but challenges in implementing knowledge sharing practices are still faced by these companies, so further research is needed to understand the benefits and encourage the adoption of practices that support it to improve the effectiveness of knowledge sharing in the construction industry. This study uses employees of a large-size construction company in the city of Surabaya as respondents used for research. After obtaining data from respondents, data processing was carried out using the OCAI method to assess the type of organisation applied in the construction company. Then the rank-pearson correlation test, simple regression test, and T test were used to determine the effect of Organisational culture on the application of knowledge sharing in large qualification construction companies in the city of Surabaya. The prominent type of Organisational culture in construction companies in Surabaya city is the clan culture type. Organisational culture has a positive effect on the application of knowledge sharing. It is found that the value of knowledge sharing increases along with the application of Organisational culture applied in the company.
