Abstract
Penelitian ini didasarkan pada suatu fenomena campur kode yang dirasakan oleh kelompok sosial “Forum Mahasiswa Panceng” dimana saat ini mahasiswa dalam komunitas sosial "Forum Mahasiswa Panceng" menghadirkan bahasa daerah dan bahasa Indonesia yang digunakan dalam kegiatan atau acara yang dilakukan oleh forum tersebut. Pemakaian dua bahasa dalam komunikasi tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan campur kode. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripikan bentuk, fungsi, dan faktor terjadinya campur kode dalam komunikasi “Forum Mahasiswa Panceng”. Metode kualitatif dan pendekatan fenomenologi digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian ini. Sumber data dalam penelitian bersumber dari informan/narasumber yaitu mahasiswa dalam “Forum Mahasiswa Panceng”. Adapun data pada penelitian ini yaitu berupa pemakaian bahasa antar mahasiswa, wujud datanya berupa data lisan berupa tuturan mahasiswa yang mengandung campur kode. Teknik pengumpulan yang digunakan berupa observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data kajian fenomenologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu dikembangkan oleh Moustakas. Temuan data menunjukkan bentuk campur kode yang ditemukan berupa campur kode ke dalam dan campur kode keluar yang meliputi kata, frasa, dan kalimat. Fungsi campur kode yang ditemukan yaitu (1) mempertegas maksud tertentu, (2) menyantaikan pembicaraan, (3) menghormati, (4) menyampaikan informasi, dan (5) meyakinkan sesuatu. Faktor terjadinya campur kode yaitu (1) partisipan, (2) fungsi interaktif, (3) pembicara dan pribadi pembicara, dan (4) topik pembicaraan.
English Abstract
This research is based on a code-mixing phenomenon that is felt by the social group "Panceng Student Forum" where currently students in the "Panceng Student Forum" social community present regional languages and Indonesian which are used in activities or events carried out by the forum. The use of two languages in communication has the potential to cause code mixing. This study aims to describe the form, function, and factors of the occurrence of code mixing in the "Panceng Student Forum" communication. Qualitative methods and phenomenological approaches were used in conducting this research. Sources of data in this study came from informants/informants, namely students in the "Panceng Student Forum". As for the data in this study, namely the use of language between students, the form of the data is in the form of oral data in the form of student speech which contains code mixing. Collection techniques used in the form of observation and interviews. The phenomenological study data analysis technique used in the research was developed by Moustakas. The findings of the data show that the forms of code mixing found are inward code mixing and outgoing code mixing which includes words, phrases, and sentences. The functions of code mixing found were (1) emphasizing certain intentions, (2) relaxing the conversation, (3) respecting, (4) conveying information, and (5) convincing something. The factors that cause code mixing are (1) participants, (2) interactive functions, (3) the speaker and the speaker's personality, and (4) the topic of conversation.
