Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) menyatakan penyebaran virus Covid- 19 sebagai situasi pandemi Covid-19 (World Health Organizatin, 2020). Pada tanggal 31 Maret 2020, pemerintah memutuskan menerapkan kebijakan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB). Kebijakan PSBB ini membatasi aktivitas yang dapat menyebabkan kerumunan seperti kegiatan belajar mengajar, perkantoran, dan kegiatan peribadatan. Pada aktivitas perkantoran, salah satu adaptasi yang dilakukan adalah pemberlakuan bekerja dari rumah atau Work From Home (WFH). Terjadi fenomena yang unik pada PT X, dimana saat banyak karyawan yang bekerja WFO sebelum pandemi laba bersih dan pelanggan tinggi, terjadi penurunan saat banyak karyawan yang bekerja WFH, tetapi terjadi penurunan lagi saat banyak karyawan yang bekerja secara WFO setelah mengalami bekerja secara WFH selama pandemi. Berdasarkan survei pendahuluan, masa transisi bekerja secara WFH menjadi WFO setelah mengalami bekerja secara WFH selama dua tahun mempengaruhi psikologis karyawan (stress kerja bertambah, beban kerja bertambah, motivasi kerja menurun) dan mengakibatkan perubahan terkait budaya kerja mengikuti protokol kesehatan, perubahan metode kerja, pola kerja, lingkungan kerja, pola hidup sehat berdasarkan pendekatan persepsi faktor internal individu dan faktor eksternal individu karyawan untuk mengelola motivasi kerja nya. Teori motivasi Herzberg (Herzberg motivation theory) menggarisbawahi dua faktor penting untuk memuaskan dan memotivasi kita, yaitu faktor hygiene (demotivator) dan faktor motivator. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara faktor internal individu dengan motivasi kerja yaitu 0.217 bersifat korelasi lemah, korelasi antara faktor eksternal individu dengan motivasi kerja yaitu 0.446 bersifat korelasi lemah, korelasi antara kesehatan dengan motivasi yaitu 0.191 bersifat korelasi lemah, korelasi antara pola hidup sehat dengan motivasi yaitu 0.104 bersifat korelasi lemah, korelasi antara transportasi dengan motivasi yaitu 0.353 bersifat korelasi lemah, korelasi antara protokol kesehatan dengan motivasi yaitu 0.103 bersifat korelasi lemah, korelasi antara lingkungan kerja dengan motivasi yaitu 0.026 bersifat korelasi lemah, korelasi antara sosialisasi dengan motivasi yaitu 0.268 bersifat korelasi lemah, korelasi antara status keluarga dengan motivasi yaitu 0.187 bersifat korelasi lemah. Hasil penelitian belum bisa menunjukkan apakah teori motivasi Herzbergh berlaku di perusahaan dan apakah pimpinan bisa mempertahankan dan meningkatkan motivasi kerja pegawai mengikuti teori motivasi Herzbergh, karena faktor yang bisa diteliti hanyalah faktor hygiene saja, sedangkan faktor motivator belum bisa diteliti

English Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) stated the spread of the Covid-19 virus as a Covid-19 pandemic situation (World Health Organization, 2020). On March 31, 2020, the government decided to implement the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy. The PSBB policy restricts activities that can cause crowds, such as teaching and learning activities, office work, and religious activities. In office activities, one of the adaptations made was the implementation of working from home or Work From Home (WFH). There was a unique phenomenon at PT X, where when many employees worked in the office (WFO) before the pandemic, there were high net profits and a large number of customers. There was a decrease when many employees worked from home (WFH), but there was another decrease when many employees returned to working in the office (WFO) after experiencing WFH during the pandemic. Based on a preliminary survey, the transition period from WFH to WFO after working WFH for two years affected employees' psychology (increased work stress, increased workload, decreased work motivation) and resulted in changes related to work culture following health protocols, changes in working methods, work patterns, work environment, and healthy lifestyle patterns based on the perception approach of individual internal factors and individual external factors to manage their work motivation. Herzberg's motivation theory (Herzberg motivation theory) underlines two important factors to satisfy and motivate us, namely hygiene factors (demotivators) and motivator factors. The research results indicate that the correlation between individual internal factors and work motivation is 0.217, indicating a weak correlation. The correlation between individual external factors and work motivation is 0.446, also indicating a weak correlation. The correlation between health and motivation is 0.191, a weak correlation. The correlation between a healthy lifestyle and motivation is 0.104, another weak correlation. The correlation between transportation and motivation is 0.353, a weak correlation. The correlation between health protocols and motivation is 0.103, a weak correlation. The correlation between work environment and motivation is 0.026, a weak correlation. The correlation between socialization and motivation is 0.268, a weak correlation. The correlation between family status and motivation is 0.187, a weak correlation. The results of the study have not been able to show whether Herzbergh's motivation theory applies in companies and whether leaders can maintain and increase employee work motivation following Herzbergh's motivation theory, because the only factors that can be studied are hygiene factors, while motivator factors cannot be studied.
