Abstract

Meningkatnya kebutuhan customer terkait dokumen security dan volume permintan yang semakin tinggi menuntut perusahaan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pada sistem produksi agar dapat memenuhi permintaan pelanggan dan menjadi perusahaan percetakan security yang unggul. Perusahaan Percetakan yang diteliti merupakan perusahaan percetakan sekuriti yang berada di Jawa Timur. Perusahaan ini mencetak dokumen security pendidikan dan non pendidikan. Dalam pemenuhan kebutuhannya perusahaan perlu meningkatkan produktivitas dengan mengurangi bahkan menghilangkan pemborosan atau aktivitas non-value added. Pada penelitian ini, merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan mengidentifikasi awal jenis waste yang terjadi kemudian dilakukan pembuatan Value Stream Mapping (VSM) dan Process Activity Mapping (PAM) yang berisi aliran informasi aktivitas proses percetakan dokumen inisial I, cycle time, jumlah operator, lead time, waktu transportasi, dan tota waktu proses value added serta non-value added. Kemudian dilakukan pembobotan waste menggunakan Waste Assessment Model (WAM) guna mengtahui urutan waste kritis yang terjadi. Berdasarkan waste kritis yang telah ditentukan dilakukan analisis akar penyebab waste menggunakan tools fishbone diagram. Berdasarkan Current State Mapping (CSM) didapatkan nilai cycle time selama 1266 menit 38 detik, lead time selama 1271 menit 1 detik, dan process cycle efficiency 52,29%. Kemudian dilakukan pembobotan waste menggunakan WAM dan didapatkan empat waste kritis menggunakan pareto diagram yang terdiri dari waste overproduction, waste defect, waste transportation, dan waste inventory. Kemudian dilakukan analisis menggunakan tools dari Root Cause Analysis yaitu fishbone diagram guna menentukan rekomendasi perbaikan berdasarkan akar penyebab permasalahan. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang diusulkan yaitu pembuatan form dan penerapan preventive maintenance, pembuatan inline alur proses perccetakan, pembuatan trolley/rak usulan, penambahan fasilitas, penambahan operator pada proses sablon, dan penyesuaian intstruksi kerja. Berdsarkan rekomendasi perbaikan yang diberikan dibuat Future State Mapping (FSM) dan didapatkan perbaikan berupa penurunan cycle time sebesar 131 menit 47 detik dan penurunan lead time sebesar 135 menit 8 detik serta peningkatan process cycle efficiency sebesar 6,18%.

English Abstract

The increasing customer needs related to security documents and the higher volume of requests require companies to improve efficiency in the production system in order to meet customer demand and become a superior security printing company. The printing company under study is a security printing company located in East Java. This company prints educational and non-educational security documents. In fulfilling its needs, the company needs to increase productivity by reducing and even eliminating waste or non-value-added activities. In this research, it is a type of quantitative descriptive research by identifying the initial type of waste that occurs then making Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Process Activity Mapping (PAM) which contains the flow of information on the process activities of printing initial I documents, cycle time, number of operators, lead time, transportation time, and the total time of value added and non-value-added processes. Then waste weighting is carried out using the Waste Assessment Model (WAM) to determine the order of critical waste that occurs. Based on the critical waste that has been determined, the root cause of waste is analyzed using fishbone diagram tools. Based on the Current State Mapping (CSM), the cycle time value is 1266 minutes 38 seconds, the lead time is 1271 minutes 1 second, and the process cycle efficiency is 52.29%. Then waste weighting is carried out using WAM and four critical wastes are obtained using a pareto diagram consisting of waste overproduction, waste defects, waste transportation, and waste inventory. Then an analysis was carried out using tools from Root Cause Analysis, namely fishbone diagrams to determine improvement recommendations based on the root causes of the problem. The proposed improvement recommendations are making forms and implementing preventive maintenance, making inline printing process flow, making trolley / rack proposals, adding facilities, adding operators to the screen printing process, and adjusting work instructions. Based on the improvement recommendations given, Future State Mapping (FSM) was made and improvements were obtained in the form of a decrease in cycle time of 131 minutes 47 seconds and a decrease in lead time of 135 minutes 8 seconds and an increase in process cycle efficiency of 6.18%.
