Abstract
Tujuan penciptaan ini adalah menciptakan karya seni grafis yang bertolak dari hasil interpretasi nilai yang ada pada album The Dark Side of The Moon melalui pemanfaatan teknik grafis cetak tinggi dan cetak saring. Penulis menggunakan 3 langkah metode untuk membantu penulis dalam merealisasikan penciptaan ini yaitu adanya tahap eksplorasi untuk menemukan referensi dan landasan, kemudian adanya tahap perancangan dalam pengaplikasian ide pada sebuah sketsa, dan perwujudan sebagai proses pemindahan pada sebuah kanvas. Penciptaan ini menghasilkan 9 karya seni grafis, diantaranyaterdiri dari dua karya sablon berjudul Time dan Us and Them dan tujuh karya grafis yang digarap dengan teknik cetak tinggi berjudul Speak to Me+Breathe in The Air, On the Run, The Great Gigs in The Sky, Money, Any Colour You Like, Brain Damage, dan di akhiri dengan Eclipse. Menampilkan berbagai macam fenomena pada manusia yang berdasarkan album The Dark Side of The Moon. Objek figure manusia dan suasana tempat digambarkan pada penciptaan ini menggunakan warna yang terinspirasi dari album The Dark Side of The Moon. Penciptaan karya seni grafis ini menjadi sebuah pengingat bagi penulis dan apresian untuk dapat lebih peduli melihat kondisi yang ada di sekitar
English Abstract
The purpose of this creation is to create a work of graphic art that departs from the results of the interpretation of the values contained in The Dark Side of The Moon album through the use of high print and filter print graphic techniques. The author uses a 3-step method to assist the author in realizing this creation, namely the exploratory stage to find references and foundations, then the design stage in applying the idea to a sketch, and embodiment as the process of transferring it to a canvas. This creation resulted in 9 works of graphic art, which consisted of two screen printing works entitled Time and Us and Them and seven graphic works made using high printing techniques entitled Speak to Me + Breathe in The Air, On the Run, The Great Gigs in The Sky, Money, Any Color You Like, Brain Damage, and ended with Eclipse. Showing various kinds of phenomena in humans based on the album The Dark Side of The Moon. Human figures and places are depicted on this creation using colors inspired by The Dark Side of The Moon album. The creation of this work of graphic art is a reminder for writers and appreciation to be more concerned about the conditions around them.
