Abstract
Setiap tahun, industri manufaktur memiliki pertumbuhan yang lebih besar, yang pasti meningkatkan daya saing di sektor industri ini. Perusahaan harus terus meningkatkan di sejumlah bidang, termasuk meningkatkan efisiensi mesin atau peralatan yang selalu berfungsi dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT.Tjokro Bersaudara, Pada penelitian ini akan difokuskan pada mesin CNC Turning dengan type CNC Lathe Machine XTRA 420, yang merupakan mesin yang digunakan untuk memproduksi berbagai jenis automotive parts, seperti piston, gear, dll. Dibandingkan dengan produk lain, automotive parts lebih sering diproduksi, tetapi data tentang kinerja mesin bubut CNC menunjukkan bahwa mesin belum bekerja dengan optimal. Kondisi ini dapat dilihat dari adanya data tentang downtime, pengurangan kecepatan mesin, dan data produk defect. Sehingga diperlukan penelitian guna memastikan tingkat efektivitas mesin CNC Turning menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis penyebab utama six big losses mesin CNC Turning menggunakan Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), dan memberikan saran untuk meningkatkan efisiensi mesin CNC Turning dengan jenis Mesin CNC Turning XTRA 420. Hasil dari penelitian ini antara Januari sampai Agustus 2022, tingkat efektivitas (OEE) mesin CNC Turning berkisar antara 54,16% hingga 59,91%, dengan rata-rata 57,55% (masih di bawah nilai OEE optimal 85%), dan proporsi six big losses 42,45%. Faktor penyebab six big losses CNC Turning yaitu karena masih terdapat masalah pada setup and adjustment losses, idling and minor stoppage losses, process defect losses, reduced speed losses, breakdown losses, reduced yield losses. Masalah ini sudah dianalisa penyebabnya dengan pembuatan Fault Tree Analysis. Six big losses mesin CNC Turning harus dihilangkan dengan mengatasi akar penyebab masing-masing dari six big losses, program pemeliharaan harus ditambahkan untuk menjaga mesin dalam kondisi prima, dan semua operator mesin harus menerima pelatihan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam operasi dan pemeliharaan mesin, sesuai dengan rekomendasi peningkatan.
English Abstract
Every year, the manufacturing industry has greater growth, which inevitably increases competitiveness in this industrial sector. Companies must continue to improve in a number of areas, including improving the efficiency of machines or equipment that always function properly. This research was conducted at PT.Tjokro Bersaudara, In this research will be focused on CNC Turning machine with type CNC Lathe Machine XTRA 420, which is a machine used to produce various types of automotive parts, such as pistons, gears, etc. Compared to other products, automotive parts are more expensive. Compared to other products, automotive parts are produced more often, but data on the performance of CNC lathes shows that the machines have not worked optimally. This condition can be seen from the data on downtime, machine speed reduction, and product defect data. So research is needed to ensure the level of effectiveness of CNC Turning machines using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method, identify and analyze the main causes of six big losses of CNC Turning machines using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and provide suggestions for improving the efficiency of CNC Turning machines with the XTRA 420 CNC Turning Machine type. The results of this study between January and August 2022, the effectiveness level (OEE) of CNC Turning machines ranged from 54.16% to 59.91%, with an average of 57.55% (still below the optimal OEE value of 85%), and the proportion of six big losses 42.45%. The factors causing the six big losses of CNC Turning are because there are still problems in setup and adjustment losses, idling and minor stoppage losses, process defect losses, reduced speed losses, breakdown losses, reduced yield losses. This problem has been analyzed for its causes by making a Fault Tree Analysis. Six big losses of CNC Turning machines should be eliminated by addressing the root cause of each of the six big losses, a maintenance program should be added to keep the machines in top condition, and all machine operators should receive training to improve their skills in machine operation and maintenance, according to the improvement recommendations.
