Abstract
Udang merupakan komoditas ekspor dan mempunyai nilai ekonomi yang cukup tinggi. Jenis udang yang sering di ekspor ke luar negeri ialah udang vaname. Udang vaname mempunyai keunggulan seperti tahan terhadap penyakit, mempunyai nilai survival rate yang tinggi, laju pertumbuhan tinggi serta dapat di budidayakan dalam tambak intensif dengan kondisi padat tebar tinggi. Budidaya udang vaname secara intensif dengan kepadatan yang tinggi dapat berakibat penurunan kualitas fisika dan kimia perairan. Sehingga kualitas air harus terkontrol karena menjadi media hidup udang vaname. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan analisis parameter fisika dan kimia perairan terhadap performa tingkat kelulushidupan dan pertumbuhan udang vaname (L. vannamei). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus hingga Desember 2022 di PT. CLS Bengkok, Lamongan, Jawa Timur. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif. Parameter yang diukur pada penelitian ini meliputi parameter air fisika (suhu dan kecerahan) dan kimia (salinitas, pH, alkalinitas, NH4+ dan NO2-) dengan performa hidup meliputi SR, FCR, MBW dan ADG dengan membandingkan dua petak tambak (Tambak A, Tambak B) dan analisis data dibantu dengan software Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan parameter suhu, kecerahan, salinitas, pH, NH4+ dan NO2- memiliki nilai yang optimal pada kedua tambak tersebut. Parameter alkalinitas memiliki nilai melebihi nilai optimal pada kedua tambak. Performansi budidaya yang didapatkan pada tambak A antara lain survival rate (SR) 91 %, Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR) 1,28, Mean Body Weight (MBW) rata-rata sebesar 8,19 gr dan Average Daily Growth (ADG) rata-rata sebesar 0,36 gr. Sedangkan pada tambak B survival rate (SR) 81 %, Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR) 1,26, Mean Body Weight (MBW) rata-rata sebesar 6,35 gr dan Average Daily Growth (ADG) rata-rata sebesar 0,29 gr. Tambak A yang mempunyai nilai parameter kualitas air yang lebih baik dari tambak B mempunyai performa kelulushidupan dan pertumbuhan udang lebih baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa parameter kualitas air fisika dan kimia mempengaruhi performa budidaya udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) pada tambak intensif di PT. English Abstract
Shrimp is an export commodity and has a fairly high economic value. The type of shrimp that is often exported abroad is vannamei shrimp. Vanamei shrimp have advantages such as disease resistance, high survival rate, and high growth rate and can be cultivated in intensive ponds with high stocking density conditions. Intensive vannamei shrimp cultivation at high densities can result in a decrease in the physical and chemical quality of the waters. So that the quality of the water must be diverted because it is a living medium for vannamei shrimp. This study aims to determine and explain the analysis of physical and chemical parameters of the waters on the performance of the survival rate and growth of vannamei shrimp (L. vannamei). This research was conducted from August to December 2022 at PT. Bengkok CLS, Lamongan, East Java. The method used is the descriptive method. Parameters measured in this study included water physical parameters (temperature and brightness) and chemical (salinity, pH, alkalinity, NH4+, and NO2-) with live performance including SR, FCR, MBW, and ADG by comparing two pond plots (pond A dan pond B) and data analysis assisted by Microsoft Excel software. The research results showed that the parameters of temperature, brightness, salinity, pH, NH4+, and NO2- had optimal values for the two ponds. The alkalinity parameter has a value that exceeds the optimal value in both ponds. The cultivation performance obtained in pond A includes a survival rate (SR) of 91%, a Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) of 1.28, an average Mean Body Weight (MBW) of 8.19 gr, and an Average Daily Growth (ADG) of an average of 0.36 gr. Whereas in pond B the survival rate (SR) was 81%, Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) was 1.26, Mean Body Weight (MBW) was an average of 6.35 gr and Average Daily Growth (ADG) was an average of 0.29 gr. Pond A which has better air quality parameters than Pond B has higher survival performance and higher shrimp growth. So it can be concluded that air and chemical glass quality parameters affect the performance of vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) cultivation in intensive ponds at PT. Cipta Legi Sembada Brengkok village, Lamongan, East Java.
