Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi pendidikan karakter kedisiplinan dan kejujuran pada masa learning from home di SMP Negeri 5 Malang tentang pelaksanaan SE Mendikbud nomor 4 tahun 2020. Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, guru bimbingan konseling, guru wali kelas 7, guru mata pelajaran PPKn, guru mata pelajaran agama, guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia, dan ketua osis SMP Negeri 5 Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data yang telah dikumpulkan akan dianalisis sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada masa learning from home yang berlangsung di SMP Negeri 5 Malang masih belum mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter kedisiplinan dan kejujuran dengan maksimal. Hal ini dikarenakan berbagai macam keterbatasan yang dialami saat learning from home. Setiap guru memiliki cara masing-masing dalam mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter kedisiplinan dan kejujuran di SMP Negeri 5 Malang.

English Abstract

This study aims to describe how the implementation of discipline and honesty character education during the learning from home period at 5 Malang junior high school concerning the implementation of SE Mendikbud number 4 of 2020. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. The subjects in this study were the principal, vice principal for student affairs, counseling guidance teachers, homeroom teachers for grade 7, PPKn subject teachers, religious subjects teachers, Indonesian language teachers, and the head of the 5 Malang junior high school. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data that has been collected will be analyzed according to the steps, namely data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that during the learning from home period that takes place 5 Malang junior high school still has not implemented discipline and honesty character education to the maximum. This is due to various kinds of limitations experienced when learning from home. Every teacher their respective ways of implementing character education has discipline and honesty at 5 Malang junior high school. Keywords:
