Abstract
Ternak sapi perah merupakan salah satu usaha peternakan yang menghasilkan protein hewani yang hasil produksi utamanya berupa susu. kualitas susu dapat ditentukan berdasarkan beberapa indikator seperti kadar Solid Non Fat dan kadar laktosa. Pakan yang diberikan kepada sapi perah berupa daun nanas dan konsentrat KBF memiliki pengaruh terhadap kualitas susu terutama kadar Solid Non Fat dan kadar laktosa susu pada sapi perah peranakan Friesian Holstein di KUD Karya Bhakti. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini berupa observasional dan deskriptif dengan purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa Sampel susu dari 20 ekor sapi perah Peranakan Friesian Holstein pada periode laktasi pertama dengan pakan daun nanas dan konsentrat KBF. Sampel susu di lakukan uji laboratorium menggunakan lactoscan milk analizer kemudian data kualitas susu dianalisa deskriptif dan didapatkan kadar rata rata solid non fat adalah 7,945% sedangkan hasil rata rata kadar laktosa adalah 4,258%. Nilai tersebut sudah sesuai dengan standard minimal susu segar yaitu 7.8% untuk kadar solid non fat dan 3,8-5,3% untuk kadar laktosa
English Abstract
Dairy cattle are a livestock business that produces animal protein whose main product is milk. Milk quality can be determined based on several indicators such as Solid Non Fat levels and lactose levels. The feed given to dairy cows in the form of pineapple leaves and KBF concentrate influences the quality of milk, especially the levels of Solid Non Fat and milk lactose levels in Friesian Holstein cross-breed dairy cows at KUD Karya Bhakti. The method used in this research is observational and descriptive with purposive sampling. The sample used in this study was milk samples from 20 Friesian Holstein crossbreed dairy cows in the first lactation period fed with pineapple leaves and KBF concentrate. The milk samples were tested in a laboratory using a lactoscan milk analyzer, then the milk quality data were analyzed descriptively and the average non-fat solid level was 7.945%, while the average lactose content was 4.258%. This value is by the minimum standard of fresh milk, that is 7.8% for non-fat solid and 3.8-5.3% for lactose.
