Abstract

Perkembangan organ epididimis kambing kacang jantan dilihat secara mikroskopis dan makroskopis berdasarkan kelompok usia yaitu 4, 8 dan 12 bulan. Secara anatomi epididimis dibedakan menjadi 3, yaitu caput, corpus, dan cauda. Epididimis merupakan organ yang berperan dalam transpor, konsentrasi dan maturasi sperma. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil perbandingan makroskopis epididimis kambing seperti lebar kaput epididimis, panjang korpus epididimis, keliling kauda epididimis dan untuk mengetahui perbandingan makroskopis diameter kumpulan spermatozoa, kumpulan spermatozoa dalam lumen serta perbedaan ekspresi androgen reseptor pada tiga kelompok usia kambing kacang yaitu usia 4, 8, dan 12 bulan. Perkembangan organ makroskopis diukur langsung setelah pengambilan sampel dan pengukuran mikroskopis dilakukan setelah pembuatan preparat histologi menggunakan pewarnaan Immunohistokimia (IHK) dan Hemakosilin-eosin (HE) yang kemudian diukur menggunakan aplikasi ImageJ dan pengamatan menggunakan mikroskop cahaya Olympus CX 21 pada perbesaran 100x yang disambungkan ke Optilab. Data hasil pengukuran dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS for windows dengan uji korelasi spearman dan analisis ragam one way ANOVA yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey HSD dan uji nonparametrik Kruskal-Wallis. Hasil analisis uji korelasi spearman pada anatomi makroskopis epididimis didapatkan hasil terdapat hubungan antara usia dengan lebar kaput dan keliling kauda kanan dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara usia dengan panjang korpus dan keliling kauda kiri. Pada histomorfometri epididimis diameter kumpulan spermatozoa dan kumpulan spermatozoa dalam lumen terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara tiga kelompok usia kambing kacang. Pada ekspresi androgen reseptor berdasarkan uji Kruskall Wallis tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada tiga kelompok usia.

English Abstract

The development of male kacang goat's epididymis was seen microscopically and macroscopically based on age group, namely 4, 8 and 12 months. Anatomically, epididymis is divided into 3, namely caput, corpus, and cauda. The epididymis is an organ that plays a role in transport, concentration and maturation of sperm. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of macroscopic comparisons of epididymis of goats such as width of epididymis caput, length of epididymal corpus, circumference of cauda epididymis and to determine the macroscopic comparisons of the diameters of the spermatozoa assemblages, the spermatozoa assemblages in lumen and the differences in expression of androgen receptors in three age groups of kacang goats, namely age 4, 8, and 12 months. Macroscopic organ development was measured immediately after sampling and microscopic measurements were carried out after making histological preparations using Immunohistochemical staining (IHK) and Hemacocilin-eosin (HE) which were then measured using the ImageJ application and observed using an Olympus CX 21 light microscope at 100x magnification connected to Optilab. The measured data were analyzed using the SPSS for windows application with the Spearman correlation test and one way ANOVA analysis of variance, which was then followed by the Tukey HSD test and the Kruskal-Wallis nonparametric test. The results of the analysis of the Spearman correlation test on the macroscopic anatomy of the epididymis showed that there was a relationship between age and the width of the head and circumference of the right cauda and there was no relationship between age and the length of the corpus and circumference of the left cauda. In epididymal histomorphometry, the diameter of spermatozoa assemblage and the spermatozoa assemblage in the lumen showed significant differences between the three age groups of kacang goats. There was no significant difference in androgen receptor expression based on the Kruskall Wallis test in the three age groups
