Abstract

Penggunaan Antibiotic Growth Promotor (AGP) dalam pakan ayam dapat membunuh bakteri patogen, namun dapat menimbulkan resistensi bakteri terhadap antibiotik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pertambahan bobot badan harian, FCR, dan jumlah BAL pada ayam yang diinduksi sinbiotik dan AGP. Sebanyak 27 ayam broiler umur 0 hari dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok perlakuan yakni P0 (kontrol), P1 (sinbiotik dosis 0,45ml/0,5 liter) dan P2 (AGP dosis Amoxcycilline 0,25 gram/liter) secara per oral melalui air minum selama 7 hari berturut turut. Ayam ditimbang bobot badan dan jumlah konsumsi pakan selama 7 hari berturut- turut untuk perhitungan performa. Pada umur 7 hari ayam dieunthanasi dan di koleksi sampel duodenum untuk kemudian dilakukan perhitungan jumlah BAL yang dikultur pada MRSA. Rerata penambahan bobot badan harian, rerata FCR dan rerata jumlah BAL duodenum dianalisis dengan uji One Way ANOVA dan Uji Tukey. Perhitungan bakteri asam laktat menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan (p<0,05) antara kelompok sinbiotik dan AGP dengan kelompok kontrol. Hasil uji Tukey menunjukkan bahwa jumlah BAL pada duodenum berbeda nyata antara kelompok sinbiotik terhadap kontrol dan AGP, namun tidak berbeda nyata antara kelompok AGP terhadap kontrol. Perhitungan performa ayam broiler(PBBH dan FCR) menunjukkan perbedaan tidak signifikan (p>0,05) antara kelompok kontrol terhadap semua perlakuan. Dapat diketahui bahwa pemberian sinbiotik dapat meningkatkan jumlah bakteri asam laktat dan pemberian AGP maupun sinbiotik tidak berpengaruh terhadap performa ayam

English Abstract

The use of Antibiotic Growth Promoter (AGP) in chicken feed can kill pathogenic bacteria, but can cause bacterial resistance to antibiotics. The purpose of this study was to determine daily body weight gain, FCR, and the amount of LAB in chickens induced by synbiotics and AGP. A total of 27 broiler chickens aged 0 days were divided into 3 treatment groups namely P0 (control), P1 (sinbiotic dose of 0.45 ml/0.5 liter) and P2 (AGP Amoxcycline dose of 0.25 gram/liter) orally through drinking water for 7 consecutive days. Chickens were weighed for body weight and total feed consumption for 7 consecutive days to calculate performance. At the age of 7 days the chickens were euthanized and collected in the duodenal samples to then calculate the number of LAB cultured on MRSA. Average daily body weight gain, average FCR and average number of duodenal BAL were analyzed by One Way ANOVA test and Tukey test. The calculation of lactic acid bacteria showed a significant difference (p<0.05) between the sinbiotic and AGP groups and the control group. The results of the Tukey test showed that the amount of LAB in the duodenum was significantly different between the synbiotic and control groups, but not significantly different between the AGP and control groups. Calculation of broiler performance (PBBH and FCR) showed no significant difference (p>0.05) between the control group for all treatments. It can be seen that the administration of synbiotics can increase the number of lactic acid bacteria and the administration of AGP and synbiotics does not affect the performance of chickens
