Abstract
Kopi merupakan tanaman perkebunan yang dibudidayakan cukup banyak di Indonesia. Meskipun banyak di budidayakan, tanaman kopi mengalami penurunan produksi khususnya di daerah Jawa Timur sebesar 49.157 ton pada 2019 turun ke 48.498 ton pada 2020. Wilayah yang memiliki sektor pertaniannya cukup unggul adalah Kabupaten Malang dengan komoditi kopinya terutama Desa Bambang, Kecamatan Wajak. Pada desa Bambang terdapat permasalahan mengenai lahan miring atau berlereng dan juga tanah berpasir, hal tersebut menyebabkan tanaman kopi yang ditanam akan mengalami kekurangan unsur hara untuk menunjang metabolisme pertumbuhan tanaman. Upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu dan produktivitas ialah dengan menjaga pertumbuhan tanaman, salah satunya dengan memperhatikan kandungan unsur hara N (nitrogen) dalam tanah. Pengaplikasian lubang resapan biopori (LRB) dengan penambahan bahan organik diharapkan mampu memperbaiki atau meningkatkan unsur hara. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2022 berlokasi di kebun kopi berumur + 2 tahun di Desa Bambang, Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang. Rancangan kegiatan penelitian ini menggunakan racangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 ulangan dan 5 periode pengambilan sampel tanah. Terdapat 7 jenis perlakukan yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini dan pemasangan lubang resapan biopori (LRB) yang bersal dari pipa PVC dengan kedalaman 30 cm dan berukuran sekitar 12 cm, perlakuan tersebut berupa perlakuan kontrol (P0), lubang resapan biopori kosong (BK), pupuk kandang kambing dengan dosis 10 ton/ha (KK1), pupuk kandang kambing dengan dosis 20 ton/ha (KK2) pupuk kompos dengan dosis 10 ton/ha (PK1), pupuk kompos dengan dosis 20 ton/ha (PK2), dan seresah pinus dengan dosis 10 ton/ha (SP). Penelitian dilakukan dimulai dengan mempersiapkan kebutuhan, lalu pengaplikasian lubang resapan biopori dan pupuk, pengamatan dengan analisis N-total, C-Organik, pH, serta pertumbuhan tanaman (tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan klorofil) dan menganalisis data yang telah didapat menggunakan SPSS (Anova dan uji lanjut DMRT taraf 5%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan KK2 (Pupuk Kandang Kambing dosis 8 kg/pohon) merupakan perlakuan terbaik, dilihat dari hasil pada pengamatan 150 HSA kandungan N-total sebesar 0.16% (0 – 30 cm) dan 0.17% (30 – 60 cm), kandungan C-organik memiliki kenaikan sebesar 53% (0 – 30 cm) dan 67% (30 – 60 cm), pada tinggi tanaman memiliki rerata tertinggi sebesar 65.12 cm, jumlah daun rerata sebesar 66.25 helai, dan nilai rerata klorofil sebesar 440.35. Hubungan kandungan N-total dengan pertumbuhan tanaman seperti tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan klorofil menunjukkan korelasi yang positif (berhubungan kuat) dengan nilai r = 0.71 – 0.75. English Abstract
Coffee is a plantation crop that is cultivated quite a lot in Indonesia. Even though it is cultivated a lot, coffee plants have experienced a decline in production, especially in the East Java region, from 49,157 tons in 2019 down to 48,498 tons in 2020. The region that has a fairly superior agricultural sector is Malang Regency with its coffee commodity, especially Bambang Village on Wajak District. In Bambang village, there are problems with sloping land and sandy soil, which cause the planted coffee plants to experience a lack of nutrients to support plant growth metabolism. Efforts to improve quality and productivity are to maintain plant growth, one of which is by paying attention to the nutrient content of N (nitrogen) in the soil. The application of biopore infiltration holes (LRB) with the addition of organic matter is expected to improve or increase nutrients. The research was conducted from April to October 2022 on a +2 year old coffee plantation in Bambang Village, Wajak District, Malang Regency. The design of this research activity used a randomized block design (RBD) with 4 repetitions and 5 periods of soil sampling. There were 7 types of treatments applied in this study, including the installation of biopore infiltration holes (LRB) originating from PVC pipes with a depth of 30 cm and a size of about 12 cm. These treatments were: control treatment (P0), empty biopore infiltration holes (BK), fertilizer goat pens at a dose of 10 tons/ha (KK1), goat manure at a dose of 20 tons/ha (KK2), compost at a dose of 10 tons/ha (PK1), compost at a dose of 20 tons/ha (PK2), and litter pine at a dose of 10 tons/ha (SP). The research was carried out starting with preparing needs, then applying biopore infiltration holes and fertilizers, observing with analysis of total N, C-organic, pH, and plant growth (plant height, number of leaves, and chlorophyll), and analyzing the data that had been obtained using SPSS (Anova and follow-up test DMRT level 5%). The results showed that the KK2 treatment (a goat manure dose of 8 kg per tree) was the best treatment. As seen from the results of the 150 HSA observations, the total N-content was 0.16% (0 – 30 cm) and 0.17% (30 – 60 cm), the C-organic content increased by 53% (0 – 30 cm) and 67% (30 – 60 cm), and for plant height, the highest average was 65.12 cm, the average number of leaves was 66.25, and the average chlorophyll value was 440.35. The relationship between total N content and plant growth such as plant height, number of leaves, and chlorophyll showed a positive correlation (strong relationship) with a value of r = 0.71 – 0.75.
