Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi dan implementasi strategi Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pada Bank Jatim cabang Batu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan melalui tiga sumber utama yaitu, studi kepustakaan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis. Analisis data terdiri dari 3 alur kegiatan yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan oleh Bank Jatim dalam implementasi CSR yaitu strategi kombinasi. Dalam pelaksanaan CSR, bank jatim tidak hanya berfokus tanggung jawab yang berpijak pada single bottom line (SBL) atau nilai perusahaan (corporate value) dilihat dari segi kondisi ekonominya (financial) saja. Tapi lebih berpijak pada triple bottom line (TBL). Selain itu, bank jatim juga menggunakan manajemen CSR yang meliputi; pengumpulan informasi, kajian peluang dan masalah, membuat keputusan final, mengkomonikasikan dengan stakeholder dan melakukan evaluasi. Sejumlah program CSR yang berhasil dilaksanakan oleh Bank Jatim diantaranya; Lingkungan Hidup, Praktik Ketenagakerjaan, Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja, dan Pengembangan Sosial dan Kemasyarakatan. Umumnya motif Bank Jatim dalam implementasi CSR terbagi dalam tiga tahap yang meliputi corporate charity, corporate philantrophy, dan corporate citizenship.

English Abstract

This study aims to investigate how the strategy and implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Bank Jatim branch Batu. The type of method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data in this study were obtained through three main sources, namely, literature study, interviews, and documentation. The data that has been collected was then analyzed. Data analysis consists of 3 activity flows, namely data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the strategy used by bank Jatim in implementing CSR is a combination strategy. In implementing CSR, Bank Jatim does not only focus on responsibility that is based on a single bottom line (SBL) or company value (corporate value). But more based on the triple bottom line (TBL). In addition, bank Jatim also uses CSR management which includes; gathering information, assessing opportunities and problems, making final decisions, communicating with stakeholders, and conducting evaluations. Several CSR programs that have been successfully implemented by Bank Jatim include; Environment, Employment Practices, Occupational Health and Safety, and Social and Community Development. Generally, the motives of Bank Jatim in implementing CSR are divided into three stages which include corporate charity, corporate philanthropy, and corporatecitizenship
