Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh stres kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap turnover intention dimediasi komitmen organisasional pada karyawan FEC PT. Ruang Raya Indonesia sumapapua I Makassar, Pare-Pare, palopo. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode sampling jenuh. Populasi dan sampel yang ditetapkan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 108 orang karyawan FEC Sumapapua I meliputi wilayah Makassar, Pare-Pare, Palopo. Data yang diperoleh dari sampel dianalisis menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), dengan pendekatan SMARTPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention, motivasi kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention, stres kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional, motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional, komitmen organisasional berpengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention, komitmen organisasional tidak memediasi pengaruh stres kerja terhadap turnover intention, komitmen organisasional memediasi pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap turnover intention. Beradasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut PT.Ruang Raya Indonesia Sumapapua I diharapkan Perusahaan sebaiknya memperhatikan komitmen afektif, berkelanjutan, dan normatif yaitu terkait item-item yang memiliki factor loading yang tinggi tetapi rata-rata jawaban responden paling rendah. Artinya item tersebut dianggap penting namun FEC atau responden tidak merasakan dampaknya dari perusahaan. Sehingga Perusahaan perlu memperhatikan faktor-faktor apasaja untuk meningkatkan komitmen organisasional karyawan pada perusahaan

English Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze and explain the effects of job stress and work motivation on the turnover intention of FEC employees of PT Ruang Raya Indonesia Sumapapua 1 of Makassar, Pare-Pare, and Palopo with the mediation of organizational commitment. Using saturated sampling, all 108 members of the population, i.e. FEC employees of PT Ruang Raya Indonesia Sumapapua 1 of Makassar, Pare-Pare, and Palopo, were selected as the sample. The data acquired from the sample was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling in SmartPLS 3.0. This study finds that job stress positively and significantly affects turnover intention, that work motivation negatively and significantly influences turnover intention, that job stress has a negative and significant effect on organizational commitment, and that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, Furthermore, organizational commitment negatively and significantly affects turnover intention and does not mediate the effect of job stress on turnover intention but mediates the effect of work motivation on turnover intention. Based on the findings above, PT Ruang Raya Indonesia Sumapapua 1 should consider affective, sustainable, and normative commitments. Those items have high loading factors but low respondent’s responses in the average, which means that the items are actually crucial, but the respondents perceived that the company did not pay enough attention to the items. Hence, the company is suggested to address factors that increase the commitment of its employees more.
