Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana manajemen UB Coffee dalam memaknai Label Halal sebagai aset dan implikasinya terhadap keberlanjutn usaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemaknaan label halal bagi manajemen UB Coffee adalah sebagai sesuatu yang berharga dan memberikan rasa bangga, sebagai pendukung fungsi edukasi UB Coffee sebagai bagian dari institusi Pendidikan (UB) dan dimaknai sebagai value dan komitmen yang dijaga bersama. Namun secara khusus UB Coffee belum mengaui label halal sebagai aset dalam sistem akuntansinya. Selanjutnya label halal memiliki potensi dalam keberlanjutan usaha UB Coffee karena tren gaya hidup halal yang semakin massif.

English Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand how UB Coffee's management interprets the Halal Label as an asset and its implications for business sustainability. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results show that the meaning of the halal label for the management of UB Coffee is something that is valuable and gives a sense of pride, as a supporter of the educational function of UB Coffee as part of an educational institution (UB) and is interpreted as a shared value and commitment. However, in particular, UB Coffee has not recognized the halal label as an asset in its accounting system. Furthermore, the halal label has the potential to sustain UB Coffee's business because of the increasingly massive trend of halal lifestyle.
