Abstract
Orang tua merupakan tokoh penting dalam pengasuhan dan pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar (asah, asih, asuh) untuk menunjang tumbuh kembang anak, termasuk dalam hal pengembangan kepercayaan diri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar (asah, asih, asuh) dengan perkembangan kepercayaan diri anak prasekolah. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan desain analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Responden berjumlah 50 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer berupa kuesioner pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar dan perkembangan kepercayaan diri anak prasekolah. Data ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi dan diolah menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu didapatkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar asah dengan perkembangan kepercayaan diri anak prasekolah dengan p value 0.004 (<0.05), ada hubungan antara pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar asih dengan perkembangan kepercayaan diri anak prasekolah dengan p value 0.000 (<0.05) dan ada hubungan antara pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar asuh dengan perkembangan kepercayaan diri anak prasekolah dengan p value 0.000 (<0.05). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar (asah, asih, asuh) memiliki hubungan dengan perkembangan kepercayaan diri pada anak prasekolah, sehingga perlu menjadi fokus perhatian orang tua dalam pendidikan anak.
English Abstract
Parents are important figures in the care and fulfillment of basic needs (Stimulation, Affection, Foster) to support the growth and development of children, including in terms of developing self-confidence. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the fulfillment of basic needs (Stimulation, Affection, Foster) with the development of preschool children's self-confidence. The research design used was an analytic design with a cross sectional approach. Respondents totaled 50 people. Data collection used primary data in the form of questionnaires on the fulfillment of basic needs and the development of preschool children's self-confidence. Data were displayed in the form of frequency distribution tables and processed using the Chi Square statistical test. The results of this study showed that there was a relationship between the fulfillment of basic needs of asah with the development of preschool children's self-confidence with a p value of 0.004 (<0.05), there was a relationship between the fulfillment of basic needs of asih with the development of preschool children's self-confidence with a p value of 0.000 (<0.05), and there was a relationship between the fulfillment of basic needs of foster care with the development of preschool children's self-confidence with a p value of 0.000 (<0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the process of fulfilling basic needs (Stimulation, Affection, Foster) has a relationship with the development of self-confidence in preschool children, so it needs to be the focus of parents' attention in children's education.
