Abstract

Waduk merupakan bangunan struktural untuk menampung air di Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS). Terdapat banyak faktor pendukung dalam pengelolaan waduk atau bendungan, seperti aspek perencanaan, operasi, dan pemeliharaan. Sedimentasi merupakan salah satu dari banyaknya permasalahan yang timbul dalam pengoperasian waduk. Pengaruh sedimentasi waduk yaitu pendangkalan sungai, aliran irigasi serta dapat mempengaruhi usia guna waduk dan fungsi waduk. Bertambahnya endapan sedimen di dead storage tiap tahun berpotensi menyebabkan penurunan efisiensi kinerja waduk dan mengurangi produksi air. Lokasi penelitian ini berada pada Waduk Plumbon yang terletak di Kabupaten Wonogiri, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar laju erosi dan sedimen pada DTA Plumbon serta pengaruhnya terhadap usia guna Waduk Plumbon.

English Abstract

Reservoirs are structural buildings to store water in watersheds. There are many supporting factors in reservoirs or dam management, such as planning, operation and maintenance aspects. Sedimentation is one of the many problems that arise in the operation of reservoirs. The effect of reservoir sedimentation is siltation of rivers, irrigation streams and can affect the useful life of reservoirs and reservoirs functions. The increase in sediment deposits in dead storage each year has the potential to cause a decrease in reservoir performance efficiency and reduce water production. The location of this research is Plumbon Reservoir located in Wonogiri Regency, Central Java. This study aims to determine the magnitude of erosion and sediment rates in the Plumbon water catchment area and its effect on the useful life of the Plumbon Reservoir
