Abstract

Air memiliki beragam manfaat yang berguna bagi keberlangsungan kehidupan manusia (Sari, M. dkk, 2021). Namun demikian air dalam jumlah yang berlebihan bisa berdampak buruk bagi manusia, salah satunya adalah banjir. Tata guna lahan suatu Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) berperan penting terhadap proses terjadinya banjir (Trimarmanti, 2014). Kasus perubahan tata guna lahan yang menyebabkan terjadinya banjir terjadi di Sub DAS Bang, Kabupaten Malang. Analisa mendetail terkini terkait solusi penanganan banjir sangat diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi teknis pengendalian banjir di Sub DAS Bang akibat perubahan tataguna lahan dengan bantuan software HC-RAS. Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk penanganan terpadu guna mencegah potensi buruk akibat banjir di masa mendatang. Hasil dari simulasi banjir beserta penanganannya menghasilkan rekomendasi berupa pembangunan retarding basin di hulu sungai dengan volume 1.4 juta m3 bersama dengan pembangunan tanggul sungai setinggi 50 cm dengan panjang 654 meter. Solusi non teknis adalah perbaikan kualitas DAS dengan cara melakukan reboisasi untuk menurunkan nilai koefisien limpasan.

English Abstract

Water has a variety of benefits that are useful for the sustainability of human life (Sari, M. et al, 2021). However, excessive amounts of water can be bad for humans, one of which is flooding. Land use of a watershed (DAS) plays an important role in the process of flooding (Trimarmanti, 2014). Cases of land use changes that caused floods occurred in the Bang Sub- Watershed, Malang Regency. The latest detailed analysis of flood management solutions is needed. This study aims to provide technical recommendations for flood control in the Bang Sub-watershed due to land use changes with the help of HC-RAS software. Solutions are offered for integrated treatment to prevent potential harm from future flooding. The results of the flood simulation and its handling resulted in recommendations in the form of the construction of a retarding basin in the upper reaches of the river with a volume of 1.4 million m3 along with the construction of a 50 cm river embankment with a length of 654 meters. A non-technical solution is to improve the quality of the watershed by conducting reforestation to reduce the value of the runoff coefficient.
