Abstract
Sapi merupakan salah satu keanekaragaman hayati yang saat ini digemari oleh banyak orang di Indonesia, produk yang dihasilkan oleh sapi sangat beragam, seperti susu, daging, keju, kulit, dan lain-lain. Peternakan sapi di Indonesia kebanyakan dilakukan pada peternakan kecil atau peternak rakyat, pada model peternakan seperti ini sapi dirawat, diberi makan hingga besar dilakukan sebagai usaha untuk investasi, saat membutuhkan dana dalam jumlah besar sapi baru akan dijual. Model peternakan seperti ini menjadi penyebab produksi daging tidak sejalan dengan populasi yang ada. Peternakan sapi yang dikelola oleh peternakan beskala kecil cenderung memiliki manajemen yang lemah dan tersebar di berbagai wilayah sehingga sulit untuk mengumpulkan data yang terkait tentang industri peternakan sapi. Untuk mendapatkan data industri peternakan sapi proses recording sangat diperlukan. Pada industri skala besar PBBH atau pertambahan bobot badan harian sangat diperhatikan. Namun saat ini proses recording masih dilakukan dengan cara tradisional. Perkembangan Internet of Thing memungkingkan dibuatnya sebuah sistem recording bobot badan sapi yang terintegrasi dengan database sehingga dapat terkumpul data untuk analisis potensi perkembangan sapi di wilayah Indonesia Skripsi ini menguraikan tentang perancangan sistem recording bobot badan sapi yang memiliki kemampuan membaca nilai RFID sebagai identitas sapi yang selanjutnya dapat mengirimkan data secara realtime lalu disimpan di database. Pengukuran bobot badan sapi menggunakan sensor load cell, dan pembacaan nilai identitas sapi dilakukan dengan sensor HW-VX6330K. Dengan perancangan sistem tersebut diharapkan dapat terkumpul data recording sapi sehingga bisa terlihat potensi perkembangan sapi wilayah di Indonesia. Hasil proses pengujian akurasi load cell memiliki nilai error 0,4% yang layak untuk mengukur bobot badan sapi, selain menguji akurasi load cell hasil pengujian kemiringan timbangan juga menunjukan bahwa dalam kemiringan 1° nilai error sebesar 0,01% dan terus naik sebanding dengan besar kemiringan, pada pengujian eccentric load nilai error maksimal sebesar 0,4%. Setelah menguji load cell pengujian sensor RFID HW-VX6330K menunjukan performa pembacaan identitas sapi yang sangat baik, tidak ada error pembacaan sampai jarak 110 cm. Alat juga berfungsi dengan baik dengan dapat mengirimkan data pengukuran berat dan data identitas sapi ke database.
English Abstract
Cows are one of the biodiversity that is currently favored by many people in Indonesia, the products produced by cows are very diverse, such as milk, meat, cheese, leather, etc. Cattle farming in Indonesia is mostly carried out on small farms or smallholder farmers, where cows are cared for, fed until they are big which is done as a business for investment, when large amounts of funds are needed, new cattle will be sold. This livestock model causes meat production to be inconsistent with the existing population. Cattle farms managed by small-scale farms tend to have weak management and are scattered in various regions, making it difficult to collect relevant data on the cattle farming industry. To get data on the cattle farming industry, the recording process is very necessary. Recording plays an important role in the process of fattening cattle, where in large-scale industries, PBBH or daily body weight gain is of great concern. But now the recording process is still done in the traditional way. The development of the Internet of Thing makes it possible to create a system for recording body weight of cattle that is integrated with the database so that data can be collected for analysis of the potential development of cattle in Indonesia. This thesis describes the design of a system for recording body weight of cattle and reading RFID values as cattle identities that can transmit data in real time and then be stored in a database. Measuring the body weight of the cow using a load cell sensor, and reading the identity value of the cow is done with the HW-VX6330K sensor. With the design of the system, it is hoped that recording data on cattle can be collected so that the potential for the development of regional cattle in Indonesia can be seen. The results of the load cell accuracy testing process have an error value of 0.4% which is feasible for measuring the body weight of a cow, in addition to testing the accuracy of the load cell the results of the tilt test also show that in a slope of 1° the error value is 0.01% and continues to increase in proportion to the size slope, in the eccentric load test the maximum error value is 0.4%. After testing the load cell, the HW-VX6330K RFID sensor test showed very good cattle identity reading performance where there was no reading error up to a distance of 110 cm. The tool also functions well by being able to send weight measurement data and cattle identity data to the database.
