Abstract

English Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Reward on Employee Performance, the effect of Punishment on Employee Performance, and to determine the effect of Reward and Punishment together on Employee Performance at the Golden Tulip Hooland Resort Batu. The research methodology used by the author is a quantitative method, a method of collecting data by distributing questionnaires which are then processed using regression analysis. The population and sample in this study were all employees at the Golden Tulip Holland Resort Batu with a total of 100 employees. While the data analysis used is in the form of validity and reliability tests. Linear regression test, correlation test, determination test and hypothesis testing using the t test (partial), F test (simultaneous). The results of the correlation test were 30.643 which showed a very strong relationship and a determination value of 0.518 means that the contribution of the Reward and Punishment variables to Employee Performance is 51.8%. The t-test results (partial) for the Reward variable have a t-count value of 5.477 > t-table 2.002 and a value of 0.002 <0.05 and the Punishment variable has a t-count value of 4.480 > t-table 2.002 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. Based on the results of the F test (simultaneous) Fcount 30.643 > Ftable 3.16 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be written that Ho3 is rejected and Ha3 is accepted. This means that the Reward and Punishment variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the Employee Performance of the Golden Tulip Holland Resort Batu.
