Abstract
Arsip sebagai salah satu sumber informasi yang harus dikelola dengan baik oleh suatu instansi. Informasi tersebut berisi data yang berguna dalam keberlangsungan hidup bagi organisasi yang menciptakan arsip. Pengelolaan arsip dinamis inaktif harus dilakukan dengan baik agar dapat menyediakan arsip dengan benar dan tepat apabila terdapat arsip yang akan dipergunakan kembali. Instansi pemerintah menciptakan banyak arsip dalam kegiatan adminstrasi yang menyebabkan bertambahnya volume arsip pada instansi pemerintahan Arsip yang diciptakan oleh instansi pemerintahan akan diserahkan ke Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah dan dikelola untuk menjaga isi arsip atau dilakukan pemusnahan berdasarkan jadwal retensi arsip yang sudah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa manajemen arsip dinamis inaktif serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat proses pengelolaan arsip dinamis inaktif guna mempermudah kegiatan temu kembali arsip pada Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Jombang. Penelitiaan ini mengunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pelaksanaan manajemen arsip dinamis inaktif masih belum dilaksanakan dengan maksimal karena masih banyak arsip dinamis inaktif yang belum dikelola. Faktor pendukung dari pengelolaan arsip dinamis inaktif adalah sistem penyimpanan arsip dinamis inaktif yang baik, pemeliharaan arsip dinamis inaktif yang memadai dan pengembangan arsip elektronik. Sedangkan faktor penghambat pengelolaan arsip dinamis inaktif adalah fasilitas penyimpanan arsip dinamis inaktif yang belum terpenuhi, keterbatasan sumber daya manusia kearsipan dan belum dilakukan penyusutan arsip
English Abstract
Archives as a source of information that must be managed properly by an agency. The information contains data that is useful as a going concern for the organization that created the archive. Management records must be carried out properly in order to be able to provide archives correctly and precisely if there are archives that will be reused. Government agencies create many archives in administrative activities which cause an increase in the volume of archives in government agencies. Archives created by government agencies will be submitted to the Regional Library and Archives Service and managed to maintain the contents of the archives or be destroyed based on a predetermined archive retention schedule. This study aims to describe and analyze the records management in order to facilitate archive retrieval as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the process records management in order to facilitate archive retrieval activities at the Public Library and Archives of Jombang Regency. This research uses descriptive research using a qualitative approach. From the results of the study it was found that the procedures for records management at the Public Library and Archives of Jombang Regency were bad, because the implementation of records management it has not been implemented optimally because there are still many records that have not been managed. Supporting factors for records management are a good in records management storage system, adequate maintenance of records and development of electronic archives. While the inhibiting factors for records management are records storage facilities that have not been fulfilled, limited archival human resources and archive depreciation has not been carried out
