Abstract
Sebagai manusia sosial, setiap orang di dunia berinteraksi dan berkomunikasi dengan orang lain, sebagai penutur ketika mereka melakukan komunikasi dengan orang lain, mereka harus dimaksudkan untuk bersikap kooperatif ketika mereka berbicara dan mengetahui setiap ucapan tersebut berpotensi mengganggu hak pribadi, otonomi dan keinginan (tindakan yang berpotensi mengancam wajah) pihak lain. Itu disebut Prinsip Koperasi. Dan salah satu cara kami melihat percakapan yang terjadi dalam kehidupan nyata adalah melalui film. Film adalah representasi dari komunikasi simbolik manusia. Ini bisa menjadi media yang paling cocok untuk mengenali interaksi manusia karena mencerminkan kehidupan manusia yang sebenarnya (Ramayanti et al., 2018). Ini diilhami oleh manusia, dibuat oleh manusia, dan dimainkan oleh manusia. Dalam kualitas tertinggi, video atau gambar berpotensi menangkap karakter dan hal-hal di sekitarnya (Graham, 2005). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk menemukan maksim dalam film ini, 2) Untuk mengetahui jenis maksim pelanggaran yang paling banyak digunakan dalam film ini, 3) Untuk mengetahui kemungkinan penyebab mengapa 2 karakter tersebut melanggar maksim tersebut. Peneliti menggunakan Teori Grice (1975). Selain itu, peneliti juga memfokuskan pada pelanggaran maksim dalam film Fast & Furious Present - Hobbs & Shaw. Setelah dianalisis pelanggaran maksim yang terjadi dalam film "Fast & Furious Present - Hobbs & Shaw", dengan menggunakan teori Grice didapatkan hasil 11 maksim yang dilanggar yaitu 7 (64%) maksim kuantitas, 1 (9%) untuk maksim kualitas, 2 (18%) maksim relasi, 1 (9%) maksim Cara. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya, sangat disarankan agar penelitian selanjutnya tidak hanya fokus pada satu aspek saja dan dapat dikaitkan dengan aspek lain, seperti misalnya: pelanggaran maksim dengan melecehkan maksim, atau perbandingan dalam film bergenre, seperti genre aksi, horor. genre, atau genre komedi.
English Abstract
As social humans, every people in the world interact and communicate with other people, as a speaker when they are having communication with other, they should be intended to be cooperative when they talk and know each utterance is a potential interference in the personal rights, autonomy and wishes (a potential face- threatening act) of the other. It is called the Cooperative Principle. And one of the ways we see the conversation as it happens in real life is through movies. A movie is a representation of a human being's symbolic communication. It could be the most suitable media for recognizing human interaction because it reflects the actual life of man (Ramayanti et al., 2018). It is human-inspired, human-made, and human-played. In its highest qualities, a video or picture has the potential to capture characters and things surrounding them (Graham, 2005). The objective of the study are 1) To find the most of maxim in this movie, 2) To find the most type of maxim of violation uses in this movie, 3) To find the possible reasons, why those 2 characters are violating the maxim. The researcher used the Grice Theory (1975). Also, the researcher focused on maxim violation in movie “Fast & Furious Present – Hobbs & Shaw”. After analyzed the maxim violation that occurs in the movie "Fast & Furious Present - Hobbs & Shaw", using the theory of Grice for the results, there are 11 maxims violated, which is 7 (64%) maxims of quantity, 1 (9%) for the maxim of quality, 2 (18%) maxim of relation, 1 (9%) maxim Manner. In suggestion, for future researchers, it is highly recommended that further research does not only focus on one aspect and can relate it to other aspects, like example: maxim violation with flouting the maxim, or comparison in genre movie, like action genre, horror genre, or comedy genre.
