Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peran trait sensitivity to aggressive trigger dalam memoderatori social exclusion terhadap perilaku agresif. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain eksperimen between-subject. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Psikologi FISIP Universitas Brawijaya yang berjumlah 80 mahasiswa. Partisipan diminta untuk mengisi instrument Situational Triggers of Aggressive (STAR) scale, kemudian partisipan diberikan false feedback untuk menciptakan kondisi social exclusion, dan perilaku agresif partisipan diukur menggunakan Reputation Damage Procedure (RDP) . Hasil analisis Bootstrap menunjukkan hasil bahwa social exclusion tidak sepenuhnya dapat mempengaruhi social exclusion, dan trait sensitivity to aggressive trigger tidak dapat menjadi moderator pengaruh social exclusion terhadap perilaku agresif.
