Abstract

Kehilangan gigi merupakan masalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut yang banyak muncul di masyarakat. Seseorang mengalami kehilangan gigi baik rahang atas maupun rahang bawah membutuhkan gigi tiruan untuk menggantikan gigi yang hilang. Prosedur pembuatan dan pemasangan gigi tiruan lengkap oleh dokter gigi muda sebagai objek pelayanan kesehatan perlu dinilai kualitasnya dengan cara menilai kepuasan pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dokter gigi muda Rumah Sakit Universitas Brawijaya terhadap tingkat kepuasan pasien gigi tiruan lengkap resin akrilik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Universitas Brawijaya pada pasien gigi tiruan lengkap resin akrilik yang melakukan perawatan dengan jumlah subjek 33 responden. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner tujuh dimensi kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan pasien melalui link googleform dan secara langsung. Hasil penelitian didapatkan responden terbanyak menjawab sangat puas pada seluruh dimensi kualitas pelayanan dengan persentase dimensi tampilan fisik (55,05%), daya tanggap (54,55%), kehandalan (56,57%), kualitas jaminan (61,36%), empati (62,77%), pelayanan medis (63,64%), dan profesionalisme (52,53%). Hasil penelitian tingkat kepuasan pasien menunjukkan responden menyatakan cukup puas (3%), puas (42,4%), dan sangat puas (54,5%) terhadap gigi tiruan lengkap yang diterima. Hasil uji Kendall Tau untuk menguji pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pasien diperoleh nilai p = 0,000 (α<0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kualitas pelayanan dokter gigi muda Rumah Sakit Universitas Brawijaya berpengaruh kuat (0,778) terhadap tingkat kepuasan pasien gigi tiruan lengkap resin akrilik.

English Abstract

Tooth loss is a dental and oral health problem that often occurs in society. Someone who has lost teeth both in the upper and lower jam needs denture to replace the missing teeth. The procedure for making and fitting complete denture by young dentists as an object of health care needs to be assessed for its quality by assessing patient satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality for young dentists at Brawijaya University Hospital on outpatient satisfaction of complete denture with acrylic resin. This type of research is analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. This research was conducted at Brawijaya University Hospital on acrylic resin complete denture patients who were treated with a total of 33 respondents. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires on the seven dimensions of service quality and patient satisfaction via googleform link and directly. The research results obtained the most respondents answered very satisfied on all dimensions of service quality with a percentage of dimensions tangible (55.05%), responsiveness (54.55%), reliability (56.57%), assurance (61.36%), empathy (62.77%), medical services (63.64%), and professionalism (52.53%). The results of the study showed that the patient satisfaction levels were quite satisfied (3%), satisfied (42.4%) and very satisfied (54.5%) with the complete dentures they received. The Kendall Tau test results to test the effect of service quality on patient satisfaction obtained p = 0.000 (α<0,05). The conclusion of this study is that the service quality of young dentists at Brawijaya University Hospital has a strong effect (0,778) on outpatient satisfaction of complete denture with acrylic resin.
