Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan tanggung jawab dan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menelaah teks cerpen pra siklus penelitian explicit instruction berbantuan media quizwhizzer; (2) mengetahui tanggung jawab dan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menelaah teks cerpen siklus I penelitian explicit instruction berbantuan media quizwhizzer; dan (3) mengidentifikasi tanggung jawab dan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menelaah teks cerpen siklus II penelitian explicit instruction berbantuan media quizwhizzer. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang peserta didik kelas IX G di SMPN 15 Malang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan tes objektif secara berkelompok. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pada tahap prasiklus, ketuntasan diperoleh sebesar 63% dengan kriteria cukup. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan diperoleh sebesar 83% dengan kriteria baik. Kenaikan dikarenakan dalam media quizwhizzer terdapat tenggang waktu penyelesaian tugas. Ketuntasan tanggung jawab dan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menelaah teks cerpen pada siklus II yaitu 100% dengan kriteria sangat baik.
English Abstract
This study aims to (1) describe the responsibilities and abilities of students in studying the text of the pre-cycle research short story explicit instruction assisted by the media quizwhizzer; (2) know the responsibility and ability of learners in studying short story texts first cycle research explicit instruction assisted by quizwhizzer media; and (3) identify the responsibilities and abilities of learners in studying short story texts second cycle research explicit instruction assisted by media quizwhizzer. This research is a class action study. The subjects of this study were 30 students of class IX G at SMPN 15 Malang. Data collection is carried out by observation and objective tests in groups. The results of this study are at the pre-cycle stage, completeness is obtained by 63% with sufficient criteria. In first cycle, fullness was received by 83% with suitable criteria. The increase is because in quizwhizzer media there is a grace period for completing tasks. The completeness of the responsibility and ability of students in studying short story texts in second cycle is 100% with excellent criteria.
