Abstract
Inklinasi radial 23,35o, Palmar tilt 16,08o, Lebar radius distal (2 sisi) 29,40 mm dan 29,6 mm, Ulnar Styloid length 4,77 mm, Ulnar styloid width 5,72 mm, Ulnar variance 1, 03 mm, Ulnolunate distance 3,25 mm, Radiolunate angle 10,46 o,, Capitolunate angle 13,34 o,, Scapholunate angle 50,71o,.
English Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Bone anatomy morphometric abnormalities can interfere with the function of the wrist joint. Problems and abnormalities in the wrist bones can be caused by various factors. Injuries or fractures, degenerative processes, autoimmune, and post-injury abnormalities are factors that can cause deformity and changes in the value of the anatomical dimensions of the wrist bone. X-ray Wrist PA/Lat is a practical information tool and has been a reference for so far. Bone morphometric anatomy measurements such as Radial height, Radial inclination, Palmar tilt, Ulnar variance are important perimeters to assess acceptability and post-treatment evaluation. The data show differences in wrist bone size that vary in each population. Therefore, the measurement of the distal radius, length and width of the ulnar styloid and the angle of radiolunate, scapholunate, and capitolunate can also be evaluated. There are no data related to the morphology of the wrist anatomy in Indonesia, especially in Malang. This study aims to assess the morphometry of the anatomy bone of the wrist joint and to find out in the difference in size compared to normal value data from the European, American population which has been the reference value. METHODS: Descriptive observational study using quota sampling method with 384 Wrist Joint x-ray samples. The measurement uses an accurate, precise and web-based application, namely the Radiology Information System (RIS) at the Saiful Anwar General Hospital Malang. RESULTS: Overall the values obtained from the average radial height 13,2 mm. Radial inclination 23,35o, Palmar tilt 16,08 o, Distal radius width (2 sides) 29,40 mm and 29,6 mm, Ulnar Styloid length 4,77 mm, Ulnar styloid width 5,72 mm, Ulnar variance 1,03 mm, Ulnolunate distance 3,25 mm, Radiolunate angle 10,46o, Capitolunate angle 13,34o, Scapholunate angle 50,71o. CONCLUSION: Overall, the anatomical morphological size of the wrist in this study is relatively smaller than the normal reference values that have been taken from European and American population values.
