Abstract
Di era merdeka belajar, berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu keterampilan yang perlu dicapai siswa dalam pembelajaran. Adanya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa akan lebih memiliki pengalaman belajar yang baik, mampu menganalisis dan menyelesaikan permasalahan, serta meningkatkan kreativitasnya. Selain keterampilan berpikir kritis, kemampuan literasi juga perlu ditingkatkan dalam setiap jenjang pendidikan. Seperti halnya yang terjadi di SDN Balearjosari 1, siswanya masih memiliki tingkat rendah dalam berpikir kritis, sehingga diperlukan sebuah langkah untuk mengkonstruk keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan media konstruksi berpikir kritis berbasis praktik literasi pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan mendeskripsikan dampak implementasi media terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research & Development (R&D) model ADDIE. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN Balearjosari 1 dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemberian angket pada validator, siswa, dan guru. Analisis data menggunakan teknik kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Media konstruksi berpikir kritis berbasis literasi dikembangkan berdasarkan model ADDIE yang memperoleh penilaian dari ahli media dan ahli materi. Hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 83% dan hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 86% dengan kategori sangat layak. Artinya, pengimplementasian media kontruksi berpikir kritis berbasis literasi dinilai dari aspek media dan materinya dapat digunakan sebagai inovasi baru bagi pembelajaran. Dampak implementasi media terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa mengalami peningkatan yang dilihat melalui hasil project karya literasi, peningkatan pada kompetensi 6C, serta pada hasil angket respon guru dan siswa. Hasil angket guru memperoleh nilai 91% dengan kategori sangat baik, sedangkan hasil angket respon siswa memperoleh 89% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dari hasil yang ada, media yang dikembangkan berdampak pada keterampilan berpikir kritis, media yang dikembangkan juga mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa.
English Abstract
In the era of independent learning, critical thinking is one of the skills that students need to achieve in learning. The existence of critical thinking skills students will have a better learning experience, be able to analyze and solve problems, and increase their creativity. In addition to critical thinking skills, literacy skills also need to be improved at every level of education. As is the case at SDN Balearjosari 1, students still have a low level of critical thinking, so a step is needed to construct students' critical thinking skills. Based on these problems, this study aims to develop a critical thinking construction media based on literacy practices on Indonesian learning and describe the impact of media implementation on students' critical thinking skills. The research method used is the Research &Development (R&D) ADDIE model. The study was conducted at SDN Balearjosari 1 with the subject of the study being a grade IV student. Data collection is carried out through the provision of questionnaires to validators, students, and teachers. Data analysis using quantitative and qualitative techniques. Literacy-based critical thinking construction media was developed based on the ADDIE model which obtained assessments from media experts and material experts. The media expert validation results are 83% and the material expert validation results are 86% with the category of very feasible. This means that the implementation of literacy-based critical thinking construction media is assessed from the aspect of the media and the material can be used as a new innovation for learning. The impact of media implementation on students' critical thinking skills has increased, which is seen through the results of literacy work projects, improvements in 6C competencies, as well as in the results of teacher and student response questionnaires. The teacher questionnaire results obtained a score of 91% with an excellent category, while the student response questionnaire results obtained 89% with an excellent category. From the existing results, the media developed has an impact on critical thinking skills, the media developed is also able to improve literacy skills and foster student learning motivation.
