Abstract
Pada situasi dan kondisi ditengah pandemi COVID-19, kebijakan Pemerintah untuk melakukan segala kegiatan dirumah saja, dalam memotong mata rantai penyebaran COVID-19 menjadi hambatan untuk para pelaku seni khususnya di Kota Kediri. Pemerintah Kota Kediri menyelenggarakan suatu program pelestarian budaya lokal khususnya kesenian lokal ditengah pandemi melalui virtual event. Virtual event ini bertujuan agar para pelaku seni di Kota Kediri tetap dapat berkarya dan masyarakat juga tetap mendapat hiburan kesenian ditengah pandemi COVID-19. Penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dengan judul “Efektivitas Pelestarian Budaya Lokal Ditengah Pandemi COVID-19 Melalui Virtual Event Di Kota Kediri (Studi Pada Dinas Kebudayaan, Pariwisata, Kepemudaan, dan Olahraga Kota Kediri). Hasil penelitian ini memberikan fakta bahwa efektivitas program pelestarian budaya lokal ditengah pandemi COVID-19 di Kota Kediri masih belum efektif. Hal ini dikarenakan kurang terpenuhinya indikator ketepatan sasaran program, sosialisasi program, dan pencapaian tujuan program.
English Abstract
In the situation and conditions in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government's policy to carry out all activities at home, in cutting the chain of spreading COVID-19 has become an obstacle for art performers, especially in the City of Kediri. The Kediri City Government organized a program to preserve local culture, especially local arts in the midst of a pandemic through virtual events. This virtual event aims to make art actors in the city of Kediri still able to work and the public can also continue to receive artistic entertainment in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The author is interested in conducting research with the title “The Effectiveness of Preserving Local Culture in the Midst of the COVID- 19 Pandemic Through Virtual Events in the City of Kediri (Studies at the Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth, and Sports of the City of Kediri). The results of this study provide the fact that the effectiveness of the local cultural preservation program in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in Kediri City is still not effective. This is due to the lack of fulfillment of indicators of program target accuracy, program socialization, and achievement of program objectives.
