Abstract

Jamur entomopatogen menjadi komponen kunci untuk manajemen pengendalian hama berbasis pengendalian biologi. Keberadaan dan kemampuan jamur entomopatogen dipengaruhi keanekaragaman spesies dan kelimpahan vegetasi. Hutan Pendidikan Universitas Brawijaya merupakan contoh ekosistem alami yang sudah diketahui memiliki jamur entomopatogen. Studi telah dilakukan di Brazil tentang keberadaan jamur entomopaotgen di perkebunan kopi dengan perbedaan naungan. Keberadaan jamur entomopatogen dipengaruhi kecocokan lingkungan dengan jamur entomopatogen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik eksplorasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan. September 2019 hingga Januari 2020, jamur entomopatogen diambil dari sampel tanah pada ekosistem pinus dan mahoni menggunakan larva Tenebrio molitor. Larva yang terinfeksi dibiakkan pada media (Saboraute Dextrose Agar Yeast) SDAY, diisolasi, dan dideterminasi pada labolatorium Pengendalian Hayati 2 Universitas Brawijaya. Keanekaragaman dan kelimpahan jamur entomopatogen dianalisis berdasarkan perbedaan naungan. Pada naungan pinus ditemukan 4 genus, yaitu: Pythium, Aspergillus, Fusarium, Verticillium. Pada naungan mahoni ditemukan 4 genus, yaitu: Aspergillus, Verticillium, Fusarium, Verticillium, Penicillium. Analisis keanekaragaman jamur entomopatogen menunjukkan bahwa naungan tidak berperan terhadap kekayaan genus namun berperan dalam kelimpahan individu. Kondisi faktor tanah memiliki pengaruh terhadap keanekaragaman jamur entomopatogen. Indeks Keanekaragaman Shanon menunjukkan naungan Pinus adalah sedang (1,57) dan pada ekosistem naungan Mahoni adalah sedang (1,42

English Abstract

Entomopathogenic fungi are key components of biological control-based pest control. The diversity and abundance of vegetation influence the existence and ability of entomopathogenic fungus. The Universitas Brawijaya Educational Forest is an example of a natural ecosystem that contains entomopathogenic fungi. In Brazil, researchers investigated the occurrence of entomopathogenic fungus in coffee plants of various shades. Environmental compatibility with entomopathogenic fungi influences the existence of entomopathogenic fungi.. This study observed a survey method combined with exploration tactics. Tenebrio molitor larvae were used to collect entomopathogenic fungus from soil samples in pine and mahogany habitats from September 2019 to January 2020. In the Laboratory of Biological Control 2 at Brawijaya University, infected larvae were cultured on SDAY (Saboraute Dextrose Agar Yeast) media, isolated, and determined. The diversity and abundance of entomopathogenic fungi were studied in relation to changes in shade. Pythium, Aspergillus, Verticillium, Fusarium, Penicillium were discovered in pine shadow, and Aspergillus, Fusarium, Verticillium Penicillium were discovered in mahogany shade. An examination of the diversity of entomopathogenic fungus reveals that shade has an effect on colony abundance rather than genus richness. According to the Shanon Diversity Index, pine shade (1.57) is the same as mahogany shade (1.42)
