Abstract
Arsitektur vernakular Jawa saat ini terus menurun keberadaannya, Pawon Garden merupakan salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk menekan kepunahan melalui konservasi eks�situ dengan cara translokasi. Namun bangunan yang ditranslokasi dapat mengalami perubahan pada elemennya sehingga mampu berpengaruh terhadap kinerja kenyamanan lingkungan termal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami elemen-elemen arsitektur Jawa pembentuk lingkungan termal dan sejauh mana bangunan mampu memenuhi lingkungan termal yang nyaman pada Pawon Garden, Parung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode desktiptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui kajian amatan visual dan pengukuran lapangan yang kemudian dibandingkan dengan standar kenyamanan yang ada. Hasil dari penelitian pada keempat rumah Jawa di Pawon Garden memiliki kinerja lingkungan termal yang sudah baik dilihat dari nilai rata-rata suhu udara keempat rumah sebesar 27,2oC masih berada pada ambang batas suhu netral, hasil nilai ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh unsur kriteria desain bioklimatik seperti luas bukaan, kecukupan vegetasi, dan aliran angin di dalam bangunan.
English Abstract
Javanese vernacular architecture is currently decreasing in existence, Pawon Garden is one of the efforts made to suppress extinction through ex-situ conservation using translocation. However, the translocated building can experience changes in its elements which can affect the performance of thermal environmental comfort. This study aims to understand the elements of Javanese architecture that form the thermal environment and the extent to which buildings can meet a comfortable thermal environment at Pawon Garden, Parung. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through visual observation studies and field measurements which are then compared with existing comfort standards. The results of the research on the four Javanese houses in Pawon Garden have good thermal environmental performance seen from the average air temperature value of the four houses of 27.2oC which is still at the neutral temperature threshold, the results of this value can be influenced by elements of bioclimatic design criteria such as opening area, adequacy of vegetation, and wind flow inside the building.
