Abstract
Udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) adalah salah satu komoditas perikanan unggulan yang memiliki prospek ekonomis yang tinggi. Pada tahun 2020 nilai dari ekspor komoditas budidaya udang telah mencapai USD 466,24 juta. Pada bulan Januari - Maret tahun 2020 mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 10,96% dibanding tahun 2019, yaitu mencapai 293,13 ribu ton. Metode budidaya udang vaname secara umum dapat dilakukan secara indoor dan outdoor. Metode budidaya indoor menerapkan prinsip biosecurity yang sangat ketat untuk mencegah patogen masuk kedalam lingkungan budidaya, sedangkan metode budidaya outdoor memanfaatkan produktivitas primer untuk menunjang pertumbuhan udang. Sistem budidaya intensif pada kegiatan budidaya udang vaname (L. vannamei) mempunyai komponen strategis untuk penentuan keberhasilan budidaya salah satunya adalah pemenuhan pakan selama kegiatan budidaya berlangsung. Kebutuhan pakan dalam kegiatan budidaya mencapai persentase 60-70% dari total biaya produksi. Hal inilah yang menyebabkan pentingnya pakan sehingga perlu adanya penambahan probiotik/suplemen untuk memperbaiki nilai nutrisi pakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan probiotik dan suplemen pada pakan terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan udang vaname yang diamati melalui parameter Mean Body Weight (MBW), Average Daily Growth (ADG), Survival Rate (SR), dan Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) serta beberapa parameter kualitas air. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Tambak Limau Farm yang beralamat di Desa Kuripan Kecamatan Limau Kabupaten Tanggamus Lampung pada bulan Oktober - Desember 2021. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan 4 petak kolam dimana 2 petak menggunakan penambahan probiotik pada pakan (petak A1 dan A2) dan 2 petak menggunakan penambahan suplemen pada pakan (petak B1 dan B2). Penelitian mengenai performa udang dilakukan pada udang DOC 35 hingga panen parsial pertama dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis grafik dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan probiotik dan suplemen pada pakan berpengaruh terhadap nilai MBW, ADG, FCR, dan SR yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai MBW, ADG, dan SR yang lebih tinggi daripada tanpa penambahan probiotik dan suplemen pada pakan, sedangkan nilai FCR berbanding terbalik. Penambahan probiotik pada pakan mendapatkan hasil yang lebih tinggi secara keseluruhan daripada penambahan suplemen pada pakan sehingga penambahan probiotik pada pakan lebih efektif digunakan selama kegiatan budidaya berlangsung.
English Abstract
Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one of the leading fishery commodities that have high economic prospects. In 2020 the value of the export of shrimp farming commodities has reached USD 466.24 million. In January - March 2020, there was an increase of 10.96% compared to 2019, which reached 293.13 thousand tons. Vaname shrimp cultivation methods in general can be done indoors and outdoors. The indoor cultivation method applies very strict biosecurity principles to prevent pathogens from entering the culture environment, while the outdoor cultivation method utilizes primary productivity to support shrimp growth. Intensive cultivation system in vaname shrimp (L. vannamei) cultivation has strategic components to determine the success of cultivation, one of which is the fulfillment of feed during cultivation activities. The need for feed in cultivation activities reaches a percentage of 60-70% of the total production cost. This is what causes the importance of feed so that it is necessary to add probiotics/supplements to improve the nutritional value of feed. This study aims to determine the effect of giving probiotics and supplements to feed on the growth and survival of vaname shrimp which was observed through the parameters Mean Body Weight (MBW), Average Daily Growth (ADG), Survival Rate (SR), and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR). as well as several water quality parameters. This research was conducted at Tambak Limau Farm which is located at Kuripan Village, Limau District, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung in October - December 2021. This study was conducted using 4 pond where 2 ponds used the addition of probiotics to the feed and 2 ponds used the addition of supplements to the feed. Research on shrimp performance was carried out on DOC 35 shrimp until the first partial harvest was carried out. Based on the results of graphic analysis, it can be concluded that the addition of probiotics and supplements to the feed affected the MBW, ADG, FCR, and SR values as indicated by the higher MBW, ADG, and SR values than without the addition of probiotics and supplements to the feed, while the FCR value compared backwards. The addition of probiotics to feed resulted in higher overall yields than the addition of supplements to feed so that the addition of probiotics to feed was more effectively used during cultivation activities.
