Abstract
Coronavirus (COVID-19) merupakan kelompok virus yang menyebabkan penyakit mulai dari gejala ringan hingga gejala berat dan dapat menyebabkan kematian. COVID-19 memberikan dampak yang sangat serius bagi sistem kardiovaskular. Pasien COVID-19 dengan komorbid kardiovaskular memiliki risiko morbiditas dan mortalitas yang tinggi. Selain itu, terdapat kondisi tanpa gejala yang juga membahayakan nyawa, yaitu happy hypoxia dimana pasien memiliki kadar saturasi oksigen yang rendah, laju pernapasan cenderung cepat, serta denyut jantung yang cepat. Untuk mengantisipasinya, diperlukan alat pemantauan yang tepat dan efektif. Namun, alat zaman sekarang yang tersedia untuk mengukur denyut jantung memiliki keterbatasan fungsionalitas. Alat tersebut tidak dapat terbaca dari jarak jauh sehingga menambah beban tenaga medis untuk melakukan pemeriksaan. Tujuan: Mengetahui efektivitas Smart ThermoOxy-meter sebagai sistem monitoring denyut jantung pasien COVID-19 berbasis IoT. Metode: Smart ThermoOxy-meter menggabungkan teknologi IoT dengan sensor GY-MAX30100 yang dapat mendeteksi denyut jantung pasien, hasilnya dapat dibaca di gadget, dan dapat dipantau melalui aplikasi. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan pengukuran denyut jantung antara sensor GY-MAX30100 dan oxymeter yang lazim digunakan menggunakan uji paired t-test. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Pengukuran denyut jantung dengan sensor GY-MAX30100 memiliki tingkat akurasi diatas 95 % dibandingkan dengan oxymeter yang menunjukkan bahwa sensor GY�MAX30100 pada Smart ThermoOxy-meter akurat dalam mengukur denyut jantung. Kesimpulan: Smart ThermoOxy-meter efektif untuk digunakan sebagai sistem monitoring denyut jantung pasien COVID-19.
English Abstract
Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a group of viruses that cause illness ranging from mild symptoms to severe symptoms and can cause death. COVID-19 has a very serious impact on the cardiovascular system. COVID-19 patients with cardiovascular comorbidities have a high risk of morbidity and mortality. In addition, there are asymptomatic conditions that are also life threatening, namely happy hypoxia where the patient has low oxygen saturation levels, tends to have fast breathing rates, and heart rate is fast. To anticipate this, proper and effective monitoring device are needed. However, today's device available for measuring heart rate have limited functionality. The device cannot be read from a distance, thus increasing the burden on medical personel to carry out examinations. Purpose: To determine the effectiveness of the Smart ThermoOxy-meter as an IoT-based heart rate monitoring system for COVID-19 patients. Method: The Smart ThermoOxy�meter combines IoT technology with the GY-MAX30100 sensor which can detect the patient's heart rate, the results can be read on the gadget, and can be monitored via the application. The test is carried out by comparing heart rate measurements between the GY�MAX30100 sensor and the commonly used oximeter using paired t�test. Result and Discussion: Measurement of heart rate with the GY�MAX30100 sensor has an accuracy rate above 95% compared to the oxymeter which shows that the GY-MAX30100 sensor on the Smart ThermoOxy-meter is accurate in measuring heart rate. Conclusion: Smart ThermoOxy-meter is effective to be used as a heart rate monitoring system for COVID-19 patients.
