Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivation terhadap performance yang dimediasi oleh work experience. Guru yang mengajar pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden 321 guru. Teknik yang digunakan adalah Partial Least Square. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa : Motivation berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap performance; Motivation berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap work experience; Work experience berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap performance; Work experience secara signifikan memediasi pengaruh motivation terhadap performance. Implikasi dari penelitian ini memberikan pengaruh yang sesuai pada motivation. Harapan sukses, nilai implikasi, biaya potensial penerapan pengembangan profesi akan terpenuhi, guru mampu berperan dalam hal memberi dukungan. Guru lebih mempunyai semangat dan dorongan dalam bekerja dan dapat menunjukkan performance.Work experience juga dapat berperan sebagai variabel mediasi, kolaborasi kepala sekolah, kemitraan lembaga luar sekolah dijalin dan kolaborasi dalam pembelajaran memberikan dukungan pada performance. Motivation memberikan dorongan dan upaya untuk melakukan pekerjaan sehingga memberikan kontribusi work experience baru dan performance individu kearah performance organisasi

English Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation on performance mediated by work experience. Teachers who teach at State Junior High Schools are the population in this study. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling method with a total of 321 teachers as respondents. The technique used is Partial Least Square. The results of the analysis show that: Motivation has a significant positive effect on performance; Motivation has a significant positive effect on work experience; Work experience has a significant positive effect on performance; Work experience significantly mediates the effect of motivation on performance.The implication of this research is to have a suitable influence on motivation. Expectations of success, value implications, potential costs of implementing professional development will be met, teachers are able to play a role in terms of providing support. Teachers have more enthusiasm and encouragement in their work and can show performance. Work experience can also act as a mediating variable, principal collaboration, partnerships with out-of-school institutions are forged and collaboration in learning provides support for performance. Motivation provides encouragement and efforts to do work so as to contribute to new work experiences and individual performance towards organizational performance
