Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor sosial ekonomi terhadap munculnya pekerja anak di Indonesia. Penggunaan variabel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari karakteristik anak yang diwakili oleh usia anak, variabel karakteristik kepala rumah tangga direpresentasikan oleh jenis kelamin dan status perkawinan, dan juga terdapat variabel lokasi tempat tinggal. Selain itu, juga menggunakan variabel bantuan biaya sekolah yang bersumber dari berbagai pihak, baik pemerintah maupun non pemerintah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi logistik biner dengan data sekunder yang bersumber dari Indonesian Family Life Survey 5 Tahun 2014. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa usia anak, jenis kelamin kepala rumah tangga, bantuan biaya sekolah, dan lokasi tempat tinggal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap adanya pekerja anak di Indonesia, sedangkan status perkawinan kepala rumah tangga tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap munculnya pekerja anak di Indonesia
English Abstract
The objective of this study is to analyze the effects of socioeconomic factors on the raise of child labors in Indonesia. The variable of child’s characteristics is represented by age, while the variable of household head’s characteristics is represented by gender and marital status; variable of location of residence is also included. This research also incorporates tuition aids from governmental and non- governmental institution as another variable. Here descriptive analysis and binary logistic regression analyses were used to analyze data obtained from Indonesian Family Life Survey 5 of 2014.
