Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran mediasi organizational citizenship behavior pada hubungan antara followership dan job satisfaction terhadap employee performance karyawan PT Indec Diagnostics. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari karyawan sebanyak 254 dari total 302 karyawan. Analisis data menggunakan pemodelan persamaan struktural dengan bantuan program Smartpls. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa followership dan job satisfaction secara langsung mampu meningkatkan employee performance dan organizational citizenship behavior. Selanjutnya, organizational citizenship behavior berhasil memediasi pengaruh followership dan job satisfaction terhadap employee performance. Secara praktis penelitian ini menyarankan agar perusahaan dapat mendorong peningkatan employee performance karena employee performance merupakan hak individu yang secara alami dimiliki oleh karyawan.

English Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the mediating roles of organizational citizenship behavior in the effects of followership and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT Indec Diagnostics. The data was harvested from questionnaires distributed to 254 out of 302 employees and was analyzed using structural equation modeling performed in Smart PLS. This study finds that followership and job satisfaction directly increase employee performance and organizational citizenship behavior. Further, organizational citizenship behavior mediates the effect of followership and job satisfaction on employee performance and has become the most important factor for employee performance. Therefore, this study suggests companies to encourage improvements in employee performance since it is one of the individual rights of employees
