Abstract
Tingkat pencemaran maupun kualitas dari suatu air maupun sungai dapat diketahui dengan berbagai cara maupun metode. Metode yang seringkali digunakan antara lain seperti metode fisika, kimia dan biologis. Penggunaan makroinvertebrata untuk mengetahui perubahan lingkungan akibat kegiatan manusia dan merupakan salah satu bioindikator kesehatan lingkungan akuatik. Kota Malang memiliki cukup banyak coban seperti Coban Putri yang terletak di Kecamatan Junrejo, Kota Batu, Jawa Timur. Aliran sungai Coban Putri akan mengalir menuju Kali Ampo, lokasi Kali Ampo cukup dekat dengan area persawahan serta perkebunan milik warga sekitar. Aliran sungai ini akan mengalir hingga area pemukiman yang cukup ramai khususnya di Kali desa Junrejo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi kualitas aliran sungai serta indeks keanekaragaman bentos yang terdapat di Coban Putri,Kali Ampo, dan Kali desa Junrejo menggunakan parameter biologi dan parameter fisika-kimia berupa kekeruhan, temperatur, dan pH. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa Family Biotix Index (FBI) dalam identifikasi kualitas air sungai serta menggunakan rumus perhitungan Shannon-Wiener guna mengetahui nilai indeks keanekaragaman di aliran sungai. Makroinvertebrata bentos yang ditemukan di Coban Putri sebanyak 39 bentos, Kali Ampo sebanyak 27 bentos dan Kali desa Junrejo sebanyak 48 bentos. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman di Coban Putri sebesar 1,38 masuk ke dalam kategori keanekaragaman sedang, indeks keanekaragaman di Kali Ampo sebesar 1,15 masuk ke dalam kategori keanekaragaman sedang dan indeks keanekaragaman di Kali desa Junrejo sebesar 0,42 masuk ke dalam kategori keanekaragaman rendah. Korelasi parameter fisika temperatur dengan nilai indeks keanekaragaman bentos memperoleh nilai sebesar -0,85. Korelasi parameter fisika kekeruhan dengan nilai indeks keanekaragaman bentos memperoleh nilai sebesar -0,39. Korelasi parameter kimia pH dengan nilai indeks keanekaragaman bentos memperoleh nilai sebesar -0,62.
English Abstract
The level of pollution and the quality of a water or river can be known in various ways and methods. Methods that are often used include physical, chemical and biological methods. The use of macroinvertebrates to determine environmental changes due to human activities and is one of the bioindicators of aquatic environmental health. Malang City has quite a lot of Coban such as Coban Putri which is located in Junrejo District, Batu City, East Java. The Coban Putri river will flow towards the Ampo River, the location of the Ampo River is quite close to rice fields and plantations owned by local residents. This river flow will flow to residential areas which are quite busy, especially in Kali Junrejo village. This study aims to determine the condition of river flow quality and the benthic diversity index found in Coban Putri, Kali Ampo, and Kali Junrejo village using biological parameters and physico-chemical parameters such as turbidity, temperature, and pH. The research method used is the Family Biotix Index (FBI) in identifying river water quality and using the Shannon-Wiener calculation formula to determine the diversity index value in river flows. Benthic macroinvertebrates found in Coban Putri were 39 benthos, Ampo River was 27 benthos and Kali Junrejo village was 48 benthos. The diversity index value in Coban Putri of 1.38 is in the medium diversity category, the diversity index in Ampo River of 1.15 is in the medium diversity category and the diversity index in Junrejo village River of 0.42 is in the low diversity category. The correlation of temperature physics parameter with benthic diversity index value is -0.85. The correlation of turbidity physics parameter with benthic diversity index value is -0.39. The correlation of the chemical parameter pH with the benthic diversity index value obtained a value of -0.62.
