Abstract
Quick on the Draw (QOTD) adalah metode pembelajaran kooperatif dengan melaksanakan misi secara berkelompok. Penelitian ini bertujuan agar mengetahui (1) penerapan metode QOTD dalam pembelajaran kalimat dengan sugesti dan (2) tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan metode QOTD. (3) Hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan metode QOTD di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan penelitian metode campuran. Subyek penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas 3 SDI Al-Aminiyah Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) guru menggunakan metode QOTD dalam pembelajaran. Siswa aktif berinteraksi dalam mencari jawaban (2) Respon siswa terhadap penerapan metode QOTD sebesar 90% dengan interval 63-80 (baik). Mayoritas siswa menyukai pembelajaran yang aktif dan menyenangkan. Metode QOTD ini menggugah siswa untuk belajar di kelas (3) Hasil belajar siswa persentase pencapaiannya 70% dengan interval 83- 100 (sangat baik). Siswa dapat merumuskan kalimat saran dengan benar sesuai dengan kasus yang diberikan. Dari perolehan yang didapatkan maka kesimpulannya ialah siswa pandai menulis kalimat saran menggunakan pola kalimat sederhana.
English Abstract
Quick on the Draw (QOTD) is a cooperative learning method where missions are carried out in groups. The aim of this study is to find out (1) the application of the QOTD method in learning sentences with suggestions and (2) the students' reactions to the application of the QOTD method. (3) Student learning outcomes after using the QOTD method in the classroom. This research is a case study research with a mixed methods research approach. The subject of this study were the 3rd grade students of the SDI Al-Aminiyah Jakarta. The results of the study (1) show that the teacher uses the QOTD method in learning. Students actively interact to get answers (2) Students' response to the application of the QOTD method is 90% with an interval of 63-80 (good). Most students like active and fun learning. This QOTD method encourages students to learn in the classroom (3) Student learning outcomes reach a percentage of 70% with intervals of 83-100 (very good). Students can correctly form sentences with suggestions according to the given situations. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the students are good at writing suggested sentences using simple sentence patterns.
