Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai tukar rupiah pada tahun 2020. Variabel yang digunakan yaitu Nilai Tukar Rupiah, Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19), Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) dan kebijakan penanganan Covid-19 berupa larangan mudik. Penelitian ini menggunakan data time series yang dikumpulkan secara harian dari 2 Maret 2020 – 30 Desember 2020 dan diestimasi menggunakan metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS) dengan variable dummy. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Covid-19, IHSG dan kebijakan penanganan Covid- 19 secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Nilai tukar Rupiah.
English Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the rupiah exchange rate in 2020. The variables used are the Rupiah Exchange Rate, Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid- 19), the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) and the Covid-19 handling policy in the form of a homecoming ban. . This study uses time series data collected daily from March 2, 2020 – December 30, 2020 and is estimated using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method with a dummy variable. The results of this study indicate that Covid-19, the JCI and the policy of handling Covid-19 simultaneously have a significant effect on the Rupiah exchange rate.
