Abstract
cahaya matahari pada tumbuhan. Dengan adanya penambahan cahaya menggunakan lampu LED spektrum warna yang tepat dapat memaksimalkan proses fotosintesis. Proses penyemaian bayam merah dilakukan selama 12 hari dan setelahnya dipindah tanam ke bak hidroponik selama 30 hari. Parameter yang digunakan pada penelitian penambahan cahaya terhadap bayam merah ini yaitu indeks kehijauan daun, tinggi tanaman, lebar daun, luas daun, jumlah daun per tanaman, bobot panen segar, dan panjang akar. Pengaruh penambahan cahaya warna merah pada tanaman bayam merah (Amaranthus tricolor) dengan menggunakan jenis lampu LED strip, Neon TL dan LED Bohlam tidak menunjukkan pengaruh nyata pada perbandingan jenis lampu tersebut. Tetapi tanaman dengan perlakuan penambahan lampu neon TL mempunyai kondisi fisik terbaik dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya maupun dengan tanpa perlakuan Di indonesia terdapat dua macam bayam yang sering d ibudidayakan yaitu bayam cabut (Amaranthus tricolor L.). Sayuran bayam merupakan sayuran untuk dikonsumsi karena selain memiliki banyak kandungan vitamin, sayuran bayam juga mempunyai harga yang dapat dijangkau semua lapisan masyarakat. Konsumsi bayam di indonesia sangatlah besar yang menandakan bayam merupakan salah satu sayuran yang digemari masyarakat Indonesia. Namun dengan semakin berkembangnya negara indonesia akan semakin berkembang juga sektor infrastruktur penunjang seperti jalan dan bangunan sehingga menyebabkan berkurangnya lahan terbuka hijau dan lahan pertanian.dengan perkembangan penduduk tiap tahunnya maka kebutuhan hasil pertanian akan meningkat juga. Sedangkan lahan pertanian semakin sempit. Hidroponik wick system merupakan hidroponik yang paling mudah diterapkan dengan skala kecil. English Abstract
In Indonesia, there are two kinds of spinach that are often cultivated, namely pulled spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.). Spinach is a vegetable to be consumed because in addition to having a lot of vitamins, spinach also has a price that can be reached by all levels of society. The consumption of spinach in Indonesia is very large, which indicates that spinach is one of the vegetables favored by the people of Indonesia. However, with the development of the Indonesian state, the supporting infrastructure sector such as roads and buildings will also increase, causing a decrease in green open land and agricultural land. With population development each year, the need for agricultural products will also increase. Meanwhile, agricultural land is getting smaller. The hydroponic wick system is the easiest hydroponics to implement on a small scale. Because it has a traditional concept and does not require many tools and materials. the addition of LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamps can be used as a substitute for sunlight or to add sunlight to plants. With the addition of light using the right color spectrum LED lights can maximize the photosynthesis process. The red spinach seeding process was carried out for 12 days and after that it was transferred to a hydroponic tub for 30 days. The parameters used in this study of adding light to red spinach were leaf greenness index, plant height, leaf width, leaf area, number of leaves per plant, fresh harvest weight, and root length. The effect of adding red light to red amaranth (Amaranthus tricolor) plants using LED strip lights, Neon TL and LED Bulbs did not show a significant effect on the comparison of these types of lamps. However, plants with the addition of TL fluorescent lamps had the best physical conditions compared to other treatments and without treatment
