Abstract
Penelitian ini menguji faktor-faktor yang menentukan penggunaan sistem informasi akuntansi (SIA) berbasis teknologi pada hotel bintang empat dan lima di wilayah Sulawesi. Variabel penelitian meliputi kecemasan atas komputer, keyakinan-diri atas komputer, keinovatifan personal dengan TI, kegunaan persepsian, kemudahan penggunaan persepsian, dan penggunaan SIA berbasis teknologi. Unit analisis adalah karyawan yang memiliki posisi pada manajemen level menengah yang memiliki wewenang dalam pengambilan keputusan. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survei. Sampel diperoleh sebanyak 233 responden. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kecemasan atas komputer berpengaruh negatif terhadap keinovatifan personal dengan TI dan keyakinan-diri atas komputer. Keinovatifan personal dengan TI dan keyakinan-diri atas komputer berpengaruh positif terhadap kegunaan persepsian dan kemudahan penggunaan persepsian. Kegunaan persepsian dan kemudahan penggunaan persepsian berpengaruh positif terhadap penggunaan SIA. Penelitian ini tidak dapat membuktikan bahwa kecemasan atas komputer berpengaruh negatif terhadap penggunaan SIA
English Abstract
This study examines determinants of the use of Accounting Information System (AIS) in four-star and five-star hotels in Sulawesi. Variables used are computer anxiety, computer self-efficacy, personal innovativeness with IT, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and use of technology-based AIS. Unit of analysis is employee who is in middle level management that has decision-making authority. Sample method is using purposive sampling and data collection method survey. Sample obtained was 233 respondents. This study shows that computer anxiety has a negative effect on personal innovativeness with IT and computer self- efficacy. Personal innovativeness with IT and self-efficacy in computers have positive effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have positive effect on the use of AIS. This study can not prove that computer anxiety has negative effect on the use of AIS.
