Abstract
Berdasarkan fungsi utamanya dalam konservasi dan pelestarian sumber daya alam, pohon juga seringkali memiliki kearifan lokal. Karena dengan melestarikan beberapa pohon, masyarakat juga berusaha menjaga sumber airnya. Namun, sering kali mitos tentang pohon yang diterima masyarakat menutupi banyak fungsi, manfaat, dan kearifan lokal yang dimiliki pohon-pohon yang ada. Masyarakat cenderung menerima semua mitos yang ada kemudian menimbulkan ketakutan di masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk masyarakat memiliki minat terhadap kearifan lokal. Sehingga masyarakat juga mampu membedakan antara mitos dan kearifan lokal yang melekat pada suatu pohon.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Terdapat banyak masyarakat yang hanya tahu mitos tentang suatu pohon tanpa mengetahui manfaat yang sesungguhnya dari pohonpohon tersebut. Video yang dibuat dan dibagikan oleh JURNALROSA menunjukkan bahwa ketika informasi yang ingin disampaikan disajikan dengan preferensi media yang tepat, maka akan banyak masyarakat yang menikmati serta mendapatkan manfaatnya.
English Abstract
Based on their main function in the conservation and preservation of natural resources, trees also often have local wisdom. Because by preserving some trees, people are also trying to protect their water sources. However, often myths about trees that are accepted by the community cover the many functions, benefits, and local wisdom that existing trees have. People tend to accept all the myths that exist and then create fear in society. Therefore, it is important for the community to have an interest in local wisdom. So that the community is also able to distinguish between myths and local wisdom attached to a tree. This study uses a quantitative approach method. The data analysis used is descriptive statistics. There are many people who only know the myth about a tree without knowing the real benefits of the tree. The video created and shared by JOURNALROSA shows that when the information to be conveyed is presented with the right media preferences, many people will enjoy and benefit from it.
